I came on a weekday around 5:30 and the place was dead. Absolutely no one in there. When I tried to ask about the chicken and gyoza I didn't get much of a response but I ordered it anyways. Apparently there is a chicken and gyoza and then a chicken gyoza combo which comes with a drink for the same price. I thought I ordered the combo and when I went to grab my drink she went to charge me and I asked about the combo and she said no you didn't order the combo. This was my first time here and I even asked for information and she could have mentioned this when I was trying to get more details about it. Maybe she was having a bad day but she came across as rude and seemed bothered by my presence like she wanted me to get out of there as soon as possible. My food was ready in a matter of a couple minutes which worried me because there's no way they cooked it fresh. And this was obvious when I went to eat it because it was dry and tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. They must have just reheated whatever wasn't sold for lunch. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Paying $20 on a meal it sure would be nice not to have whatever leftover chicken was sitting since probably noon under a heater, man. This is the driest chicken I have to reiterate that I've ever had. There's a wonderful teriyaki place by house that gives you a free drink when you order a meal. It seemed very stingy to not let me have the drink as a first-time customer because she did not explain. I didn't order the meal when I specifically was asking for more information... I couldn't even finish the chicken because of how gross it was and the idea of it just sitting there for hours so I had to go get dinner elsewhere. What a waste and the pressure to leave did not help as two of them sat there and stared at me while I filled my cup of water before leaving as in a way to tell me to hurry up and get out... Neither of them even...
Read moreThis review is not necessarily holistic, I’ll admit it. But if there’s one thing I can rely on when I’m in the depths of a horrible hangover or need a greasy reward, it’s the Nasai Teriyaki fried gyoza. Although I do feel that they are overpriced, they are consistently fried to absolute perfection. The outside is crunchy, while the inside is still juicy. The filling has a good flavor and is never dry, too squishy, or chewy. The pictures speak for themselves, just look at that golden color.
When I went the service was unreasonably slow. 6 gyoza took probably 15 minutes. I was in line, and it seemed that many customers had been waiting even longer for their food.
Again, I haven’t tried anything else and I don’t really plan on it…but I’d highly recommend trying the fried gyoza...
Read morePains me to write this review. First of all food is decent and convenient. Unfortunately we had a terrible customer experiences Saturday afternoon 8/30. We purchased 2 platters and we forgot to ask for extra fork and plate for our toddler. Wife went back in and asked the lady for extra set for our toddler. She refused and my wife even offered to pay! My wife even tried to explain it was for a child and the lady still walked my wife to the door- just rude. I know times are tough right now. customer experience makes a big difference on who people give their $ and business to. I hate posting this but it’s important for people to know especially when there are tons of small businesses that would be more accommodating and appreciate your business. Stay...
