Went there on a Sunday morning around 11:00am for brunch and as expected there was a short wait for a table. The food came out quickly after we placed our orders and it was delicious. As others have mentioned, the lemon ricotta pancakes are definitely worth trying. They are light, fluffy with a not too strong lemony taste. Sausages and eggs were well seasoned and tasty. Portions are big. Would love to come back to try other dishes. Edit: tried their Fall Special 2024 - Tiramisu French toast - great flavor of the coffee flavored sauce, the white part of the sauce was a little sour (don't know if that was from some lemon/orange flavor added or the cream was going sour?) Kids waffle was a good sized portion too. Feb 2025: we like coming here once in a while, but I feel like some of the dishes are not up to the mark. Ordered one of their specials which included poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and chorizo and the sauce looked and tasted curdled. The side of fruits in the dishes that come with it has been hit or miss, sometimes with stale tasting fruit. The scrambled egg dishes have been better, so will probably stick to those and the ricotta pancakes. Service has always been good.

I really wanted to love this place but our experience here wouldn’t let us. The staff were friendly and it felt like a cozy, family owned restaurant. I will note that we went on Saturday during prime brunch time, so they were busy. The food generally looked really good too. HOWEVER, our food was served cold/room temp (at best). Moreover, we had a long wait between standard events (sit down, taking our order, getting the food, getting the check, and paying). It looked like there were not enough staff for the restaurant. Moreover, it also didn’t look like tasks were being delegated appropriately. It might seem like I’m focusing on small events, but there were many things like this that all added up to a generally chaotic and disorganized environment. Also, the food was overpriced. Yes, this is Seattle (and almost everything here is overpriced). But this place was DEFINITELY over priced. I ordered a waffle (which was a good size but not that big) with two eggs and four sausage links. Total for that was $23 (before tax/tip). Overall, the experience was disorganized/chaotic with food served cold, and prices that were too high.

This is a really mixed review. The food is good, atmosphere is good. Service is pretty standard if a tad slow sometimes, but it's a nice little diner so that's no big deal.

But I had a really weird service experience that made me wary to ever eat here again. I ordered the migas scramble with wheat toast and fresh fruit. They brought a migas scramble with hashbrowns and gluten free bread. Not the first time I've had an order come back wrong, no big deal I was just gonna go with it. But then a minute later after I had already started eating the waitress came back to the table with my actual order, clearly they had given me someone else's order. So she insists I hold my plate up so she can scrape off the hashbrowns and bread onto a small serving plate and then sets my toast and fresh fruit next to me. Shortly after I see her walking by with the other migas scramble with its hashbrowns and toast.

Now I don't know if she actually served those hashbrowns she scraped off to someone else (a health code violation), but I can't figure out why she would bother having a customer awkwardly hold their plate to scrape food off of it just to throw that food away, which is the only thing she should have done with that food. Really not sure I can trust that any future order hasn't already been on someone...

0 Stars** HORRIBLE customer service. Not sure why mercedes works in customer service when she obviously doesn’t know how to. Came here to pick up breakfast for a friends bday. Our friend has a meat and gluten allergy (which we did state when we ordered!)so we decided to come here due to them having gluten free and vegetarian options. Ordered a veggie scramble. When we got home she took a couple bites and realized her order had meat so we called to have it remade. Not only did we have to drive 20 mins back to pick it up upon arrival we were expecting a refund for the inconvenience but we were met with extreme rudeness and attitude from mercedes. They had made an entirely wrong order and then she had the NERVE to say “why did she eat it if she can’t eat meat she should have noticed can’t she tell”. Last time i checked when I order something especially from a new place I should not have to inspect my food to make sure it’s correct. Then she took the previous order out of my hands to throw away when i said we had someone who could still eat it instead of being wasteful. If being wasteful and rude is this restaurants policy then they should reevaluate. This is our first and last time coming here extremely disappointing for a...
