Stepping into this cozy Mediterranean eatery was like embarking on a culinary journey amidst the food hub of Ballard. Had their food at a social event where they sponsored all meals, so wanted to try the restaurant again. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Very clean restrooms. Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply outstanding. Every dish showcased the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean, from the zesty salads to the succulent grilled meats and Falafil (that’s how they choose to spell). What truly impressed me was the speed at which the food was served in-spite of too many to-go orders lined up. My order arrived promptly. In conclusion, this casual Mediterranean restaurant exceeded expectations with its delicious food and fast service. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this place delivers on both fronts. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean flavors served with efficiency and flair. Will definitely be back.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day but thats no excuse for bad service. Food: Had the Beef/Lamb Sharma. Flavors were decent, but I got at least three or four pieces of grizzle in the meat which is hard to chew. Also, for the price the portions seem pretty small - like a skinny breakfast burrito. It comes with a runny garlic sauce. The plates looked like they had much better portions. Service: There was an elderly lady that ordered a plate that comes out on a wooden cutting board and the younger girl that brought out to her, didn’t bring silverware with it, and when the older lady asked her for silverware, she just pointed across the room at where the silverware was, and then walked right past it rather than helping out older lady. if you’re gonna ask for a tip on your payment prompt, you should be prepared to give service in my opinion.

My wife has very strict dietary guidelines. We are gluten and dairy free. We struggle to find good restaurants and actually will Walk out because we can tell the difference between servers that are "kinda" sure about the ingredients in there food and others that are "sort of" sure when it come to allergies. Dalal especially is a shining example of good customer service and as a small business owner myself....I want to take her for my own business.. ;) We love Shawarma Time because they are so knowledgeable and on top of it they have amazing gluten free and dairy free options. You can tell that their management goes the extra mile to train their team about what's in every ingredient that they have in their delicious food . Thank you...we see and feel the difference.

I saw the 4.8 review and thought, let’s try it out! For what it’s worth I don’t frequent this cuisine often so I had little reference to compare it to but here was my experience:

I ordered a chicken shawarma w/ upgraded Greek fries + drink combo for around $20. Although I thought it was a little high, let’s face it, this is now the standard price of a decent lunch in Seattle these days. The takeout order was ready in less than 15 minutes while I waited inside. The place was in an old subway and pretty standard takeout restauraunt feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Now onto the food:

The wrap itself had very limited ingredients that I could taste besides the chicken. While there was a good amount of chicken provided, ultimately, it tasted extremely dry/tough and like it had been sitting out all day (for reference I visited around 9 PM). That plus the quality of the chicken used made it borderline inedible for me. Maybe the beef or lamb would’ve been different.

The Greek fries were overwhelmingly completely drenched in sauce which made them very soggy and unappetizing after a few bites.

The tzatziki sauce was only the only portion of the meal I enjoyed. It was light yet full of flavor!

In my opinion and with limited comparison of this specific cuisine, ultimately I feel there are much better uses of $20 to spend at other places nearby. Maybe another menu item would be more satisfying, but it’s unlikely I would go back and willing to spend the money to try them.

My recommendation to the owners would be to cook the chicken more frequently so that it isn’t dried out for orders near closing hours and maybe choose a different brand. Also, ask the customers if they would like other ingredients included so it feels like they are getting more value as it’s pretty inexpensive to make a wrap with chicken and tahini at home. It just lacked a full...

The flavors are out of this world—each bite bursting with perfectly seasoned meat that’s tender and juicy.
