Wow, this place is phenomenal! I had two young women with me who had just biked 4,000 miles across the country and hadn't had sushi in the 70 days they were on the road. They finished their ride in Seattle and decided they had to have sushi for dinner. The reviews for this restaurant were good, so we gave it a shot. The restaurant itself is a nice intimate space. It was clean and comfortable, but the food was the best part. We tried a number of sushi rolls as well as appetizers from the kitchen. I don't remember the names of the items we got, but one was an octopus dumpling (in the photo), a pork dumpling, seaweed salad and several sushi rolls. Everything was delicious and I think we are going back for dinner tonight to try all new things. I highly recommend this place!

Came here on Friday evening around 5, sat at the sushi bar, the place was very loud and there were surprisingly many kids (almost at every table). It doesn’t give you a feeling that it is a sushi place-nothing asian about it at all, feels like a regular American bar. We had Miso soup, edamame, Sashimi roll and Bruce Lee roll. Miso soup was missing salt and flavor, nothing special as my husband noted it was made from dishwater, the rolls were ok, fish was definitely fresh. The Sashimi roll is just raw fish wrapped in cucumber with a dash of avocado, tasted super healthy. Can’t say much about Bruce lee roll-there was too much going on there. The Edamame was the best dish that night. I probably won’t come back to this place again.

YUMM YUMM YUMMMMM. The Crunch Roll, for starters was DEVINE; Don't change a thing. Shrimp was cooked to the limits of perfection (and a little bit beyond honestly, so tasty). now the Drinks, The serpents tongue, the name had me thinking it was going to have a vodka kick but was pleasantly surprised to find it was fruity in taste and could easily be shipped on in the summer and by a pool, aces in my eyes. The Triple Ginger Mule, where to start? As an avid Moscow mule drinker, this one goes beyond what I've usually been accustomed to and I ADORE it. Service was friendly and quick, even with other eateries and bars around, my attention stayed on this place. Highly recommended for anyone.

Most of the reviews seemed positive and we wanted to try this place for Father's Day. We were prepared to wait for a table due to the holiday but luckily we got a table pretty quickly and the dining room didn't seem to get busy until we were well into our dinner, which doesn't seem to really explain the poor service we had. I'm not sure if our waiter wasn't very experienced or just was having an off day but when he came to greet the table he seemed weirdly distant? Didn't really respond to us immediately or willing to have a conversation. Which I get it, if it's been a long busy day, it sometimes hard to to keep a conversation when you're just trying do to your job. However, the bare minimum of bringing out food in a timely manner and checking waters is part of providing a dining experience to customers. We watched our appetizers go cold on the expo window, we had to wave our waiter down multiple times, even him ignoring us once or twice. Our waters were never once refilled, and he never checked in about our drinks or food. Not to mention he seemed to be struggling with orders at expo stand and bringing orders to the correct tables. The staff member that sat us and the other we eventually we got the bill from were very nice and helpful. But added unease on top of our experience was they the staff member who dropped the check told us triple check that all of the food and drinks was put in correctly.

All that to say, the food (besides being cold when it shouldn't) was decent. We were a little confused on the Happy Hour the Crunchy Spicy Tuna roll. I could best describe it as a smashed ball of rice with tuna, jalapeños and sauce that was half-hazardly smushed on top. Not really a roll but maybe we...

If I could give it 0 stars I would ..I don’t understand why they have such good reviews when there are so many other places to spend 100$ on dinner for two.. went this Thursday evening wait staff was running around as if short staffed was super curious who the manager could have been that would let their staff go down in flames like that but it was unclear ... the only person who seemed helpful or caring about customers was the busser.: we waited 10 minutes to be greeted at our table ..the order came out wrong with an extra order of nigiri roll and under cooked edamame as well as a roll that clearly had bad fish in it as my boyfriend pointed out immediately upon tasting .. and woke up today sick as a dog .. I refrained from even eating it ... our server was rude and clearly she had no time to speak with us so I didn’t even make a complaint for all the things that went wrong ..my cocktail also came out wrong as it was supposed to be vodka and was clearly gin .. they also ran out of the ingredients for my boyfriends cocktail telling us only 10 minutes after she had taken the order and delivered my drink .. not sure she was even trained to bartend ..the only time the waitress showed any sort of kindness was after she realized we still tipped her 20 percent for the gross food and terrible service .. I’ve been in service for 15 years so I get it .. but the fact my boyfriend got sick from the food was the kicker .. I think people should know to stay away and spend your money...

TLDR: get dessert. Sushi is good. No signal inside.

Dimly lit at night, loud conversation drowns out music. Street parking only.

Menu has no pictures and has very little description of items, especially the sushi menu.

If you have AT&T beware you will have little or no signal in the restaurant!

Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, order at the table, check brought to you.

Sushi is pretty fresh and proportions are generous.

Miso Soup: very flavorful and contains more seaweed than most places provide. I'm a fan of the tofu bits.

Philadelphia Roll: creamy texture with a crunch of cucumber. Consists of cream cheese, cucumber, and salmon. Sorry, no avocado.

Ginger Tatsutage: it's...ok. The boneless chicken is literally thrown into the fryer with no breading or flavor. So you get somewhat dry chunks of meat. The sauce is very lightly flavored. I don't really recommend this one. I was honestly expecting better.

Tempura Ice Cream: heavy on the cake side and proportion is a bit small. If you plan on sharing this, it will leave you wanting more. Gotta love me them ice creams! Comes with a cup of ice for your spoons--which I thought was...
