In elementary school, my best friend went on a trip to Jamaica and brought me back a vacuum-sealed package of sugar cane. I sucked the juice out and thought it was the most delicious thing I’d ever tried. I was bummed that we don’t have this snack in the US. Fast-forward 25 years to when I discovered Mia and More and found out we do have it in Seattle!! They keep a stock of fresh cane behind the counter and feed it into a cold-press machine fresh to order. The strawberries and dragonfruit in my drink were fresh too. I just got some nuoc Mia at Mia & more . The price is $7.43 . So I paid with 0ne $5 dollars bill and some chance . And wait my order . One guy come out later tell me they don't want $2.45 in coins because take them too much time to count ( 2 50c , 5 25c and 2 10c ) . Wow ! For all the years I live in this country .
