We had a very unpleasant dining experience today. The male waiter’s attitude was DISMISSIVE from the very beginning — every response carried a tone, as if we were somehow inconveniencing him just by ordering food.

When we were checking out, he started LECTURING us about how difficult his job was because another staff member was on lunch break. It felt like he was either trying to SHIFT BLAME, escalate the situation unnecessarily, or maybe discourage customers from coming altogether. He kept saying we should be “more patient,” even though our entire meal lasted barely 30 minutes and we exchanged LESS THAN FIVE SENTENCES with him before he raised his voice. We didn’t ask for a single water refill, and it was obvious he had neither the time nor the willingness to provide service. The problem wasn’t being short-staffed — we understand that can happen — it was the ATTITUDE and blaming customers for it.

It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re being treated this way. Hopefully, management takes a closer look at his approach to “CUSTOMER SERVICE” — no one comes to a restaurant expecting to be scolded for...

Very disappointing experience today. We’ve been to Ten Seconds Rice Noodles many times both at the Bellevue and Chinatown locations and always enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, today was completely different.

A male waiter served us with a very poor attitude from start to finish, unfriendly when taking our order, impatient while serving, and dismissive when we asked for the check. It was around 3pm on a Sunday, not busy at all, yet he made our whole group feel uncomfortable.

We had to ask multiple times for the check, and when we finally pointed it out, he YELLED at all of us. I was honestly shocked. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a restaurant we used to love. Really disappointing experience.

When the waiter realized we were not going to leave a tip, he suddenly said “sorry,” but in such a dismissive and insincere tone that no one would take it as a real apology.

I honestly feel sorry for him if he’s having a bad day, but he should never take that out to customers.

We unfortunately didn’t get the full experience because we door dashed this place, but even ordering takeout, the food quality was exceptional! Can’t even imagine how much better it would be if we dined in person.

I got the dry beef tripe rice noodles, my boyfriend got the tomato beef brisket rice noodles, and we had the fried donuts to share. The portions are massive even in the Togo containers and they were delivered in a high quality reusable bag as well! The tomato soup broth was hot, flavorful, the right amount of acidity, and was well portioned with loads of meat, veggies, and noodles.

My dry beef tripe noodles were a tad bit spicy, but also flavorful, a giant portion size, and a lot of meat for what it was worth. It does come with peanuts too, for those with peanut allergies. Even my son liked my dish, and he is extremely picky.

The fried donuts were delicious too! Perfectly crisp, hot, and would be perfect with a side of condensed milk to dip it with.
