A place so secret there's no lights on the outside. Decent cocktails but what I enjoyed most was the selection of gin. As a gin drinker I get tired of the same tang/sapp/beef/hend at every bar. The art on the walls are *mostly* for sale. I wish I would have gotten more pics but it's very dark on the inside and I didnt wanna put on the flash to disturb other patrons. Glowing cocktail tables, well mirrored bathrooms and the bartenders were knowledgeable about their craft. A pleasure to be here and next time we visit would love to come back.

My favorite neighborhood bar. a HUGE fan of low light, chandeliers and candles and the art covering the walls. Almost every cocktail I’ve had has been delightful and decently priced, can have about two rounds without feeling the sting of the bill. Staff is super chill. Only complaint I have is while I really do love the music they play, it’s a bit too loud. The bar is set up to be more conversational than club and I can never hear what people are saying within changing so I wish the music could be turned down time to time.

They have many bottles of liquor and can create some delicious drinks. It's expensive to have a mixologist (aka talented bartender) at your fingertips. They are willing to get creative and implemented wonderful recommendations based on the little I disclosed of what I was looking for. Two normal sized drinks cost $40, and that was only leaving a $4 tip. The decor of the place was surprising. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I wouldn't describe it as classy decor. They try to pull together classy and contemporary artistic caricatures. It came across as comical to me, and I'm not sure that was the point. They didn't have any of my favorite scotch "Macallan" (which is widely popular and found in many more limited bars). I found that to be a potential problem with the massive job of inventory for that many bottles of liquor. They also measured the liquor very closely (as if they were scientists in a lab). It's no wonder they have that many bottles opened...

I have just finished a stressful interview and The Hideout happened to be the closest place for me to visit to avoid traffic.

I was pleasently surprised to enter into a warm space filled with art on the walls. The crowd had a fun and diverse group.

The bartender Lauren was quick to say hello and give me a water. I didn't know what to drink and she asked what flavors I looked for in drinks. She made two delicious cocktails I only remember that one was what she called Charaue Gimlet. So refreshing!

If you are in the area swing by and see how cozy this place is...
