I've been coming here for a while, but this was the first time I had such a terrible experience. The beard trim was done so unprofessionally that it left me with razor burns, irritation, and even bleeding. It’s completely unacceptable to leave a customer in this condition. I expected a clean, precise trim, but instead, I walked out with painful cuts and discomfort.

Very good and inexpensive (by Seattle standards) small hair salon located in First Hill. Men's haircut was 20$ (they take cash only , no credit cards). it was a good haircut at a good price. Walk-in's only (no appointments accepted), they have a sign up sheet outside if they are busy.

We’ve been going here for the past 5 years or so when we lived in the city and now commute from West seattle on the weekends. We also have added our son to get his haircuts now and we love everybody that works there! Great service and the sweetest people who take the best care of us!

DON'T go with Tam! Tam is very unprofessional, irritating, and treat his customers HORRIBLY.

Tam's bad behaviors showed a form of Asian Hate. He is unstable, and made this place UNSAFE! Ironically, this is an Asian hair salon. Why an Asian brought coming-from-no-where angers to the other Asian? It's sad that this happens, but be CAREFUL!

I saw the good reviews online and came here with happy moods. However, it was ruined by Tam. The haircut took around 3 mins, or even less. Knowing this place is for quick haircut, but it's way too short. Tam was very IMPATIENT with his service with me. Tam was constantly talking with the other his friend customer. He truly rushed the work. About to finish, from the mirror, I can see the four sides are cut very uneven.

After asking him to trim the sides more tidy. Tam suddenly became angry and started to YELL at me. I was completely shocked. It came out of sudden. I remained calm in seat, but only to see his full of anger to his customer. Tam even pointed his fingers to me, and blamed the uneven cut to my hair problem. I told him to calm down and be polite to customer. But Tam chose to continue YELLing loudly, and pointed his fingers to let me leave the seat.

This is absolutely the WORST haircut experience, as I'm the customer who paid but received awful service and was treated horribly. I didn't know Tam at all. We had very short conversation before the haircut. YOU could be treated the same as me. DON'T go with Tam!

I'm so confused why the place says "my number one goal is customer satisfaction", but Tam acted the very opposite of this goal. Tam let off his angers easily. He rushed his work unprofessionally. Tam is very impolite. He has no respect at all.

If you are a customer, don't go with Tam. He is bad.

If you are the owner of Sports, please be mind your employee treating customers like this. I wouldn't believe receiving this kind of bad service before this morning, but it...

Update on Apr 2021

They moved away from cash-only policy sometime last year, and I recall them even advertising for it (which made me come back to them). However, everytime I try to pay with an alternative method other than cash, I get a distasteful look and are continuously reminded of their little panel saying that "Cash is King". I can understand why a business owner would prefer cash, but why do I need to feel guilty of paying with credit/debit? I even pay a little bit extra to offset transaction fees that they might've been charged from it.

Sentiment remains mostly the same - they have a serviceable cut for an affordable price in a very short amount of time, but the service is impersonal. It's a fine place if nothing else matters than getting a haircut, but their service is eating me too much.

Went here twice, had a mixed feeling - first one was done well, and the other went poorly.

The lady that has cut my hair the second time wasn't so good at english, and inability to communicate led to a disaster. Both of the time, the service was rough, and I felt rushed. I understand that service has to be rushed to make the haircut fast, but I would like my head to be treated more gently. Seriously, the latter one just kept pushing the hair clipper so hard to my head that it mildly hurted.

While they give a fast and cheap cut with okay quality, the service is rather impersonal and uncommunicative. I think I'll try to find...

This is my first time I'm going to write review something. I'm sorry if it's hard read the review. But I want to write something because I felt I should. I'm male from Portland OR and originally from Japan. I've been living Seattle a year and half and looking for new hair cut place. I used to go $80 hair cut every 4~6 weeks when I was in Portland. It was amazing. My hair is not easy to cut and design because super straight and so many (Most people told me) . So I tried to go many hair cut place from $20 to $80 in Seattle. But I still couldn't find right place to go. One place ($50) are good but I felt $30 is fair price. Because the hair cut only can go 2 weeks. The balance of value are important for me. Anyway I found this salon yesterday from google and it said $10!!!! $10!!! I thought it'll be great if the hair cut are not bad. So I can go every two weeks and my hair looks clean every time! So I went to there today's noon. IT WAS GOOD. AND IT WAS REALLY $10! I highly recommend to try this place. The feeling of you can go hair cut anytime are AMAZING. I'm going to back this place whenever i saw my side or back...
