YOU FOLKS HAPPEN TO HAVE: One helluva Temperamental Barista who's Harboring Some Harsh Judgmental Views (based on stigmatized fallacies re: the human-value of social status') Towards {the} Lesser-Fortunate (whom only seek an ability to gratify some need, be it the use of power temp.'y or a few moments to warm up or even just to hit the john rq..) Who treats said people Absolutely Inhumanely on a whim!!!!! And EVEN WHEN They're A Paying Customer (as in.. I Already HAVE My {â/đ©}!!); But the worst part especially is her having been "given the authority" to make long-term decisions w/o any query or rebuttal whatsoever ..Sometimes LITERALLY OVER NOTHING!!!!!!
I think Lil' Ms. *Sally (Skellington) needs some Sensitivity Re-Training, Stat!!!
And if indeed you do authorize {the power of} individual Baristas' {ability} to Parma-Ban your unobtrusive & mild-mannered paying customers on the basis of "scuff"*, then I truly believe implementation of a records-keeping process is well past due! How else, unless asked to sign a doc., does one acknowledge the status of their having been (86'd) refused access to the use of your services henceforth??
*"scoff" is the subject-matter title in which I'm giving here simply bc I'm at a loss for better wording.. To say the least, such a sudden & harsh move on her part, given full-context of the situation, should be reprimandable as it was dramatically unnecessary to start!!
I innocently made an underbreathed-comment ("Nobody else's said anything..") as she headed back inside from informing me of the đ sign (that Nobody Sees, btw!), & directing me to the stairwell..She then whipped back around and said "You know what?! Go ahead & pack your stuff up! You've exceeded your welcome!" (*not sure exactly what was said here, but it's the same gist!) ..Mind you, I'd already paid for my initial beverage w/ intent to buy at least one...

I donât believe you can have a great latte without velvet foam and some coffee shops donât understand that...Starbucks...Yeah, this place is pricey, but so are all coffee shops and at least with Uptown, you get what you pay for. What that includes is rich, smoky expresso, velvet foam and different pastries like the almond croissants..so good. And I canât forget the rocking vibe or how open the shop is so you will never feel confined. The baristas have always been welcoming and patient. The last time I went in there was only one barista working and he had a line of 8 people or more and he was multitasking like a mutha......He didnât try to rush anyone or become annoyed, he just flowed with the process and I was super impressed. Donât be fooled by the fact itâs in a little strip mall next to a gas station, itâs so much more than that and you will not regret...
Read moreEdited to say that I gave them another try this morning. I'm not looking for staff to be my best friend. But is pausing your chatting long enough just to acknowledge my presence too much to ask? Downgraded to 2 stars.
Three things make a great coffee place: excellent coffee, a good ambience, and friendly employees. The americanos here are consistently excellent, and while the space is tired it's decent for getting some work done. But for some reason they've swapped out several warm, efficient baristas for new ones who seem to feel like they're doing you a favor for deigning to serve you. I was in line this morning and the barista was so off-hand in their interaction with another customer that I was reminded there are plenty more pleasant places to frequent. So I went down the road and had a really nice experience elsewhere. Note to management: it's not the customers' responsibility to coax the staff into...
