After placing a mobile order at another location and finding out they had no fries, I canceled that order and placed an order at this location. The lobby was closed so I went to the drive through where the girl handed me a bag with my food. While on my way home I started inspecting the bag to make sure my items were all there, and started finding sides I had not ordered. What happened was they were also out of fries for my family meal and decided to replace them with potatoes and gravy which I did not order nor want. NOBODY SAID ANYTHING OR ASKED IF THAT WAS OK, they just left a little note in the bag that said "out of fries" as if finding out when I got home was going to be OK.
I went back and asked the staff why nobody said anything to me or asked if that was going to be acceptable, and the response from the girl was basically " yeah we were out of fries thats why we put the potatoes in there" as if she didn't understand why I was upset. I asked if I could get maybe 20-30% off because of the problem, and she said they only have a 10% off button and thats all they can do. Again, THATS IT?!? That is all Popeyes empowers their managers to do in the name of customer service?
The employee's attitude was basically "well you can take the 10% or give us back the food, take it or leave it". I have now spent about 45 mins out of my day trying to bring home food for dinner and now you're giving me the choice between $4 off for 2 large fries, and nothing?!?
The worst part of this whole deal is both girls I spoke with never once apologized the store was out of fries, never once said sorry that they were unable to provide more than a 10% discount, and never once made an effort to engage in any kind of hospitality or customer service. They acted like I was the problem. This might be the last straw for Popeyes, certainly...
Read moreOverall the service was the worst service I have ever had I get there a little after 605pm sitting Im the drive thru for a pretty long time . The line isnt move much I look over I can count at least 5 employees one is a manager he was in a blue shirt. Either on break or smoking. Yet you see its dinner rush line going around the building why would you send that many employee on break knowing is dinner rush. It was starting to get close to 6:20pm I decide I am gonna go inside, No manger in sight You dont here welcome back to popeyes. The crew wasn’t friendly at all. As I am standing in line to place my other at least 4people bring back food because items are missing it not the right item and it takes the crew a while for them to notice that customers. I place my order the order taker dosen’t ask what sauce I want with my tenders she didnt give me my drink. I am waiting watch the line person box of the food . I can see he is overwhelmed and some employees are standing around customer standing there needing to get items replace I would say name but nobody had name tags on. As I get my food I ask for my drink the lady gave me a small knowing I got a med she read me back my order and she didn’t ask If I wanted hot sauces or honey. I used to work for popeyes a few years back I was trained all these key things. If very sad the new generation has no since of Urgency seems like only thing they care for is the paycheck but dont wanna do that work not once did I see any employee smiled. The vibe was like get me out of this place. I hope you take this into consideration and retrained...
Read moreI usually go to the Popeye's off of 85/87 here in Fountain, Colorado. I ordered the 11 piece but they didn't know how to use the register, so I changed it to 12 piece family meal. I was waited on by a troop of young teenagers that were so new they still didn't know what buttons to push or how to fill the ketchup packets. I could see the manager sitting at a small desk surfing the net and eating without a glance around. She even seemed upset when I sent the young lady to ask her a question. They tried very hard to understand what was needed by the 7 separate orders and people waiting for them. I kept trying to keep it light with them calming them but there nerves were frazzled. I was talking to 3 other adults about us all watching the MANAGER (Stephanie) look less and less interested in helping. We stood there for 45 minutes for our meals and one lady left with a refund and a free meal. When this manager came back to life all she did was help with finding a box for one young man giving me my food. What ever she said to him made him more nerves. SO, I checked my food before I left and found he messed up my mash potatoes with NO gravy. He ended up giving me 2 new containers full of only gravy, I laughed and tried again to make light of it. He then gave me 2 more mash with gravy, it was fun for me so I kept smiling which kept him grounded. He then gave me what I needed and I left watching 1 of the original 7 adults still waiting on food, remember I was first in line at the time. We always go to the same place, but I am truly considering just going across the...
