Where to begin...Well let's begin from the moment I arrived at Hells Kitchen. Store "manager" Mackster was extremely rude and lacked care of interest of customers when arriving. When taking our order he constantly rolled his eyes. I asked for pizzas by the slice and he replied he was not going to make anymore due to he had 10 pies to make.I understand there is a shortage on staff members so I decided to work with him with what he was capable of making. After I placed my order I noticed he grabbed a slice of pizza from the front display with his bare hands and put it in the oven. Moments later he open the oven put his entire bare hand on the slice of pizza to check the warmth of it im assuming then grabbed cheese with his bare hand and put it on the slice of pizza. I then got his attention and asked if he can come over to where I was sitting so I didn't have yo shout across his prepping area and make it appear like I was causing a scene. He hesitated at first but then eventually came over. I stated my concerns of him handling our food bare handed especially during this pandemic. He got very defensive and said he washed his hands however, at this point I wanted a refund and did not want to eat at Hells Kitchen. He raised his voice to me and restated he washed his hands and he did not have the authority to give me a refund despite being a "manager". I asked to speak to a manager and he said he is the manager I then said I need to speak to someone above you. His reply was no one is here it's the weekend and demanded me to leave. I told him I am not leaving until I get a refund I just spent $49.91. We spent five minutes going back and forth he was telling me he would call authorities, and I replied that's fine with me your the one who owes me money and is being rude and yelling at me. Bottom line this place is filthy, and unsanitary. Pizza on the floor, food handled with bare hands and horrible customer service. I do...
Read moreThe LAST underwhelming experience. The first, called in a pick up order, and was told an hour and forty-five minutes for pick up. Arrive an hour and fifty-five minutes later, and was told it would be out shortly. Forty-five minutes later, they finally bring it out. This time, today, ordered for delivery through the app. The app said delivery about fourty minutes later. An hour and fifteen minutes AFTER the approximate delivery time, I try calling to check the status. Called repeatedly for ten minutes, and was constantly busy, like the phone was off the hook. So, I drove down to the location off Main Street in Security, less than ten minutes from my house, and had to go through the drive-thru to check the status. When I asked about it, they pulled it out of a stand up "holding are" container. I asked how long ago it was done, and the person at the window replied maybe ten minutes. So I asked if I could get my delivery fee back since I came and picked it up. Was told they couldn't do that. So asked to speak to the manager. Manager told me since it was a third party app, they couldn't do it, and would have to request the refund through the app. As I was asking why it was a third party app with their name and logo all over it an no mention of it being hosted through a third party, another employee walked up, grabbed the delivery fee out of the tips, said here have a good night, and slammed the delivery door. So, got the pizzas and garlic knots home (less than ten minutes away mind you), and the pizza was barely warm, the crust was hard, and the cheese was congealed. The garlic knots weren't cold, but weren't warm either, like room temperature. All that for $65+ in food. They used to be awesome. But now it seems like if you aren't in the dining room (which is closed), they don't care. Sad. Lost this customer (and have several friends that have had similar...
Read moreI walked into the ice cream side and asked if I could order both pizza and ice cream. They said no. I then asked for chocolate ice cream and they said “is a cone okay?” because they had no ice cream cups! I said I wanted a cup and they held up a fountain drink clear plastic cup and asked if it was okay if it was put in there. I then asked for a milkshake and they seemed very confused and asked around about the recipe for the milkshake. I went ahead and said “nevermind” and ordered the ice cream.
I then tried to pay with tap and I could not tap to pay even though the “pizza” side I’m able to tap to pay. So then I asked if I could order pizza and ice cream on the “pizza” side. She said yes. Which then I wondered…why can I order pizza and ice cream from the “pizza” side but not the ice cream side? Things were really not making sense and this was kind of the last straw with this location. The ice cream is really good and so is the pizza but the employees always seem like they have no idea what to do when people order both. If it’s supposed to be two different businesses then they should build a wall between the two. The employees seem super inconvenienced when I order ice cream - and all I got last time was a single scoop of chocolate ice cream!!
This place used to be awesome. I don’t know what happened. But it totally sucks now in terms of service and atmosphere. The employees seem confused and bored at the same time even though they’ve got work to do. God forbid you order a calzone - they'll give you the worst deer in headlights look ever. Like I said, last night was the last straw. When they said I could go to the other side to order and tap to pay, we instead just left and went to Baskin Robbins and I got slices from the Southgate...
