I am a Pasha lover since well before these two on 1604/35 were built, but not this trip; my mom brought me here for my birthday, and even better? She caved in and came to try Mediterranean food for the first time EVER, after my trying to get her to Pasha because it was the best place to start loving it, and had tried for like 6 years!!
Forget that it was my birthday (which they knew because she asked them about free dessert lol š¤¦š¼āāļø), I was so excited to finally get her to Pasha so we could now enjoy it regularly togetherā¦but her food was just okay. Mine was pretty bad; the tabouleh was nothing but very watery lemon juice and parsley for the most part - I thought red onion adds much to part of the flavoring? And since when is it watery? See the pics below.
My kebabs were dry aside from the watery juice of the salad, and since when do the veggie skewers consist of one tomato and the rest all onion & peppers, one which was a burn your face off jalapeƱo? The table next to us also had kebabs and his pepper was also way too hot, but I saw while he was coughing on it that he at least got a mushroom or two.
Why did we speak to no manager about this? Well, it seems there wasnāt one available, not to mention it took us literally 1 hour and 58 minutes from walking in the door to walking out, so by the time we realized the food wasnāt up to par I for one was already super annoyed and wouldnāt have been too nice with them anyhow; when we were sat by a nice girl she got bombarded with menu questions by my mom, and bless her heart she was patient and explanatory, IE doing our serverās job. I told my mom chill & apologized that it was her first time, but as it were that hostess also wound up coming to get our drink order, as well as had to be hunted down from the grill area to give me first another straw and then later some extra napkinsā¦because our server was never anywhere to be found. As it was, it was TWENTY MINUTES from sitting by the hostess to when our server even acknowledged us even tho once we figured out who she was she HAD passed our table like three times. She didnāt even take our order when she first spoke to us, but said hello and that she would be right back. š¤¦š¼āāļø??? What the heck?
So after my mom clarifying with her a few more of her narrowed down menu options to be sure she would enjoy her dish, our food was ordered a solid 45 minutes into us having arrived. A young man was kind enough to give us fresh naan when I went to ask if we could have some (my mom is diabetic and needed carbs so she didnāt pass out since it was taking so long), and I wish I remember his and the hostesses name because our server didnāt even drop off the food for her table. She came by once to see how everything was and I needed some garlic aioli; she didnāt even come back to drop that, either, and then finally I had to flag her down for the check and to-go boxes, of which she only brought the former. She did bring me a baklava I think moreso because I looked so annoyed by the time she brought the check moreso than for my birthday, and after we signed the check finally I got my to go box.
I am allergic to honey and not much for nuts. While I appreciate the gesture of a free baklava, I would much rather have had good service, decent food, and a quality birthday dinner experience for my mom finally coming out to eat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis rating is for Devon specifically. I ordered delivery through the pasha website. It was incorrect. I ordered the grilled salmon, they sent lamb. Iām pescatarian. Mistakes happen no big deal. I call to see if it can be corrected, Devon seemed completely lost and had no idea what to do. First he said āughh ⦠what do you want to be done?ā And I asked āwhat are my options? Iād like my salmon if thatās possibleāHe said āugh⦠Iāll just write your name down and the next time you come in you can get a free meal.ā Write it where? Now until forever my name is written somewhere at Pasha waiting for my free meal?? That didnāt seem too official and I still need a meal I can eat so I said Iāll just come now and get my corrected meal. I told him Iām on my way and got off the phone. 20 minutes later I sent my husband in and the meal wasnāt ready. Devon didnāt tell the kitchen to remake the meal. He knew we were coming, what was he doing?? Folding napkins in a corner and not telling anyone a customer is coming I guess. My husband had to sit there for 20 more minutes while they remake it. No apologies or anything. I ate 1 1/2 hours late, I was so hungry. Iām a tired new mom who just wanted a nice meal after a long day. My husband said there was a lady in there who knew what she was doing but everyone else seemed like idiots. Pray for that lady and what she deals with in a shift. Also, the salmon was good once I got it. I wish I could get an alert for when Devon gets fired so I know what itās safe to go back. Food service isnāt for everyone. I know heāll find his...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy Daughter and I decided to visit this restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine after a movie. Neither of us had been here before. It was nice and quiet, and we were seated right away. It was in between the lunch and dinner rush, so we timed it perfectly! Everything we selected was so delicious! They have plenty of choices on the menu. The prices were very good and the serving size was more than ample. I had the grilled salmon with a side of grilled fish, and my daughter had the grilledĀ Mediterranean fish and shrimp. They allow substitutions for a very nominal charge. They also had great prices for extra side dishes. We loved the seasonings! We chose the sample appetizer. You have a choice of selecting 3 items. We chose hummus, sambusas, and brussel sprouts that had a tasty balsamic glaze. The sharazi side salad was a nice and fresh palate cleanser. The Naan was huge and soft! The dip was a combination of olive oil and za'atar. I loved it and actually added some of it to my basmati rice and to my salmon and shrimp. We normally don't have dessert, but we ordered the tiramusu and carrot cake. Both were outstanding!! It will make you say yum out loud on the first bite and bites thereafter! They are open daily. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. There are so many meals to choose from! I'm sure we will return many times...
