My family and I, which consisted of 6 of us, went into Plucker’s Monday evening about 10 o’clock. We were seated immediately, which I was surprised by, being that this restaurant is still fairly new. We waited about 10 minutes until our waitress, who never really introduced herself to us, came and asked us for our drink order. At that time, my aunt and uncle ordered an appetizer. It took about 15 minutes for the appetizer to come out, and we never were asked if we needed refills during that time. Another waitress brought out appetizer out and it was both missing some items and was not fresh. The items that were missing were finally brought out after another 15 minutes, but we had to be asked again what is was. We then were asked what we like to order. We all placed our orders, and patiently waited. The restaurant was not busy at all that evening. It came to be about 11:00 when we started question where out order was. Still our waitress has not come back to check up on us. Our food finally came out, and we were ready to dig in. Not just one but ALL our plates were cold. We immediately sought out our waitress, mind you she was not the one who brought our food out. ANOTHER waitress brought it out to us, while our waitress sat at the bar with other waitresses just laughing and talking away. We saw her watch our food come and get passed out by another waitress. When we brought up the issue she quickly apologized for being “M.I.A.” We would have understood that if we hadn’t seen her at all wishing those 40 minutes, but we saw her sitting talking away. She apologized for the food and took it back and put in a new order. She also brought the manager out. Our order went back at 11:07 pm and came back at 11:17 pm. What took 40 minutes to come out the first time, came out in 10 minutes. The manager came to the table, apologized and said she would comp the appetizer and come back and check on us. Our waitress brought our food back out and then left. We all then were ready for refills but were never asked. We saw our waitress, with a bag or purse, her drink, and keys, looking like she was ready to head out the door. The way we saw her was through the reflection of a window. She was peeking around the corner, almost as if she was waiting for us to not see her leave. Mind you, we just received our food. It is 11:30 by this time. We had already been there an hour an a half on a not busy night. We saw many workers just messing around. 11:45 came around and our waitress brought our check, not knowing about the comped appetizer. The manager never told her and the manager also never checked back on us. This is when we finally got a name, Mack was what was on the receipt. We all paid, and had to wait till midnight to receive our change and cards back. It took 15 minutes to cash us out, which I thought was ridiculous. For this being my first time here, I was not impressed. We should not have been there for 2 hours on a not so busy night.
I complained about this issue 2 days later, as did my other family, because we all paid our own tickets, so it was not just one bill. I have yet to receive any feedback about my terrible experience here. As I read other reviews about this location, this seems as an occurring problem. Please fix this, before it gets bigger than it...
Read morePluckers is my favorite restaurant, we go ALL the time & the customer service is always great. Until last night, our server “Alanna K.” Came to our table, got our drink and food orders & that was it. We needed refills, plates (when our food got there), I asked the server who brought out food for extra plates (never brought them). 5 mins later we still haven’t touched our food bc we needed refills and extra plates (we share a big order of wings). A manager “Jackie” comes out to check on tables & I just if she can call our server when she gets a chance bc we need a few things, she apologized & asked what we needed & brought them out right away…… half way through our wings, we needed more ranch (even though we asked for some when we placed the order), STILL HAVE NOT seen our server, until I look outside & she’s just laughing away, I was so patient, our food was getting so cold & we just needed ranches. It’s about 10-15 mins now and we’re still waiting! She finally comes in from outside, goes to the POS & prints out our checks “here you go do you want to go boxes”… there was still more than half the wings there, she didn’t bother to ask “anything else, are y’all good, etc” what if I wanted desert or wanted to order something else…. So then I told her “we’re not done eating, we been waiting to ask for ranch” she laughs and said “well yea you didn’t tell me” and I said “yea because we haven’t seen you the last 15 minutes, or since you took our order” and was like “oh yea so here’s your check” I was like “we’ll take the check but we still need more ranch” and she was like “wait so you still want them?” I LITERALLY JUST SAID WE WERENT DONE, so at this point I’m irritated. I said “yes we’re not done” she laughed, rolled her eyes & THREW my receipts on MY FOOD & walked off. I told her “throw my receipt again” (Which she’s lucky that’s all I said bc my kids were there. You don’t treat people with disrespect & expect nothing in return) After that, Jackie the manager came to see what happened, and I told her, she took care of us the rest of the night & we checked out and left. We didn’t eat the rest of our food because it was cold bc we had to wait 15+ mins for ranch, etc. I’ve been a server for 5+ years and I would never treat my customers like this. Alanna, you obviously need some home training & some manners, if you don’t like serving go find a new job. Management, please talk to this girl about her attitude. People aren’t gonna tolerate...
Read moreWell don’t order online and walk in to pick it up anywhere near the time it’s suppose to be ready. Went inside talked to the first person host and she said come in, talked to another person at the counter and that person was to look for my order. A customer got his order there., so I’m thinking it’s just busy. Then I think they just forgot about me since it’s been 10 or so minutes and the person I talked to started to talk to other people. So I asked the young lady about my online order and she said you have to go to the side of the building. I was already there, strange I can’t just get my food there. I’m sure it’s cold by now. So I go to the side of the building and the phone service is not a pleasant experience. I called and told them I was there for an online order. Said please wait and someone will be with you. No let me get your order number or name. Just another waiting experience. So the only positive out of this was the curb side attendant who came out greeted me and asked how he can help me, brought my order and even asked if I needed a manger because I told him I went inside to get my order and had to waited inside for it. Then Bo came out which was the same person I talked to at the counter. Who forgot me. Well not today, I gave them their food back asked for a refund and didn’t keep the food even after they said to keep it and still get a refund. Bo was making excuses about the waiting experience. I asked for his name again just to make sure I know who I needed to follow up. David an hire up called apologized and didn’t make excuses. I appreciate the call back and that my refund will be in 3-5 business days. He offered to get some fresh food but I’m already turned off in the experience. It’s not about free food it’s about the experience. Spending $57 should include a good experience with customer service. He stated that he would be sending a gift card to my physical address. I don’t care for free food, I just wanted good service for what I paid for. I ended wasting time and that I don’t care for. Good luck to those who want spend so much time for something so simple.....hi how can I help you, yes we got your order and it will...
