The ramen itself tasted like instant noodle where you can get it at Asian market. If you want to bring your unique ramen, it’s better homemade or self-made ramen noodle. We had pork belly chasu with tonkotsu base, and have asked if the meat is too much fat. The guy told us the fat mostly cook and melted so there won’t be much fat left. And yet, with the meat still too much fat. Also the pork belly wasn’t that tasty and flavor. The beef chasu with miso base was fine. The beef doesn’t have any flavor and little dry. We also has takoyaki balls which is calamari/ squid. The power is too soft compared to the others we had eaten, supported to crispy the outside and soft from inside. The sauce comes with takoyaki was good, mixed well with the dish. The waitress was nice giving us extra “kimchi”. The kimchi may be a different style compared to Korean kimchi, but it was fine. On top, a bigger portion than others ramen in town, little cheaper price than others; but ramen noodle is a nah. And the soup base doesn’t bring much special flavor compared to Kimura. Service is nice but atmosphere seems for only to go, not dinning. Would eat only once here.

This place has really gone down hill recently. Mostly when It comes to value. It's one thing to up your prices, it's another to essentially slack on the quantity and quality of your product additionally in the process. Cucumber and pickled radish were not very crunchy and were a little slimmy and more soft than usual. Veggies over all had a lot of dark discoloration and were more bitter than usual. Tuna was gray on some of the pieces and red on only one. Eel was very slimy. They didn't really give me much on the protein either, idk why I got the smallest pieces of Eel. Pics attached of before eating while I was looking for my protein choices, as you can see that's all I got and they are charging 12 for that 😂 you'll get fresher items with a way better price from HEB, infact just go to HEB or somewhere else because youre not going to find value or freshness here! I actually use to love this place and have my partner pick me up something from here quite a bit. Or use to now! I'm honestly disappointed and will just not be going here any longer. Will update later if I get food poisoning. 🙏

It is a cute hole in the wall type of restaurant. You enter and just walk right up to the counter to order and pay. And then you seat yourself and wait for your order to be ready. If you never been here before. My suggestion is to take a good look at the menu and think about what you want before you place your order, as it will help you very much. Speaking from experience here as it would be less frustrating to the person at the counter. She didn't seem very friendly or cared to explain or help with placing my order. I order the Sushiburito and I didn't realize it's completely create your own sushi roll. That's cool but it wasn't explained and I was handed a paper and she said here fill it out. I was so lost. I made the assumption and filled it out the best I could. I did make one tasty Sushiburito. My husband had a grilled chicken shoyu ramen soup. I was able to taste it and broth was ok. It tasted like it was a miso soup. The husband said he would come back and try something different but I won't.

They make you pay beforehand so if they are rude and mess up your order they already have your money. I have been to this place multiple times prior to this. The individual who prepared my food was very rude. I ordered a sushiritto and was specific in telling him about what I wanted on the order. I ordered the eel and stated eel multiple times before he placed the first scoop of eel in the oven to heat it up. He came back to the protein section and asked me what other protein I wanted and I said eel again. He then was rude and said you should have told me before I placed the first scoop in there. He was very skimpy with the additional toppings and viably appeared annoyed when I asked for a little more of certain toppings. I asked for seaweed flakes and he stated I don’t want that because the wrap itself is made out of seaweed. I told him I wanted wasabi and I proceeded to hand him the wasabi and he stated they have wasabi mayo and said, fine, add that instead. I also asked for ponzu and eel sauce in my sushiritto (prior to him closing it) and he didn’t place either of them inside. I asked him why and said I can place it on the side in my to go plate. He also told me had been making sushi for 14 years and that’s not how I want my sushi but I have placed the exact same order with a different preparer multiple times prior to dealing with the guy who did my order this time around. He essentially told I did not know what my tastes were and did what he wanted in a supposedly custom, made to order poke/ sushiritto place. I wish there were other options on this side of town but I can wait to go to the other spot close to the mall for better...

I just found this place! I love love love the atmosphere, the employees and the food! They were very helpful in making sure I got the broth I would like as well as explaining things that I hadn’t tried yet! The food was absolutely amazing! I originally took it Togo but because other food from another location took too long I ended up going back and sitting down to use the amenities they give. Such a great location! Will be back soon!

Edit: After my very good first experience, the place went downhill. They hired new employees that are less interested in the guests experience... short and seemed in a hurry to get back on their phone, or stand around. They are not regular guest loyal... The first time I ordered Togo my broth and food was hot and fresh. The last four or five times they have been barely warm, broth container less than half full, and barely any side veggies to put into my soup. The chicken would be full of stringy tendons that made the chicken unappetizing, and last night I ordered shrimp and they had no flavor and seemed to be coated in oil and were very hard and not to mention cold. The flavor of the broth and the egg are ever changing.. the first time I got them they were so good and last night my egg tasted rotten. Last night I also switched from the miso broth to chicken to see if I’d like it better, and it literally tasted like water. I’ve had Instant chicken flavored ramen that had...

Our visit was a bit of a mixed bag. Service wasn't particularly friendly, and there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, which can be frustrating for all parties involved. My husband ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and didn't eat most of it. The chicken was thigh meat that wasn't trimmed or cut well at all. There were large pieces with fat and connective tissue still attached, which is unappetizing and was unexpected. Chicken teriyaki is usually grilled breast meat in our experience, so this was a definite let down. The actual sauce on it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I got the sushi burrito with salmon and tuna. It was HUGE, which was awesome, but I was only able to eat half, and sushi doesn't keep well, so half went into the trash, which made me sad. The fish was well cut and portioned well and there was a good balance of veggies, rice, and meat. It did need more sauce, and there were very, very large pieces of cilantro stem in it that I had to keep picking out, which wasn't pleasant and was a little annoying. I would get it again, but I might have to ask for no cilantro, which would be a shame because I love it. Overall, I would only come back if it was just me so I could get...
