We really loved this place, until we didn't. Matt was amazing, so friendly and amazing service. Views are second to none and we had a lovely cheese board. However, when we went to leave, I asked them to call us a taxi, my husband has a bad leg injury, that happened on our way to alaska and we didn't have his wheelchair, it was being delivered to the cruiseship in the morning. He was unable to walk up the hill. The woman behind the bar made a nasty comment right to my face and said "you mean you need a taxi for a place literally a block away?" And then they refused to call the taxi. It was humiliating and you should be ashamed of yourselves for not being ADA compliant. You ruined what would have been a lovely day....

The ham went really well with the honey chevre and light spicy jam. The ciabatta was excellent, the inside was soft and the outside had a nice crust to it. The sandwich was slightly warm too which was perfect, especially because it was a cool, rainy day. My husband had the Italian Job sandwich and really enjoyed it as well but I didn't take a photo. The waitress was attentive, the shop was super cute, and the whole shop smelled like mulled wine which was lovely. We definitely would stop...
Read moreA really amazing little bistro in Seward. We got The Italian Job, the Take Me Back to Italy, and two of the charcuterie boards, along with 2 wine flights.
The service was great, our server helped answer a few questions and was incredibly nice. The food was absolutely incredible, I might have to come back to Alaska just to have another The Italian Job, and the wines were great (especially the Chianti).
Atmosphere wise there isn’t a ton of seating but it wasn’t a problem for us at all. You can also do grab and go and there’s a bunch of outdoor seating options nearby.
Loved it, and if we’re ever in the area again we’ll...
