Starbucks — Restaurant in Seward

Caramel Macchiato is not made like it is in Anchorage. I ordered a triple hot caramel macchiato with soy milk and I received what tasted like an Americano with burnt espresso beans. When I asked the barista to remake it (with a please and a thank you) because I thought maybe an order was mixed up, I was glared at and the drink was remade with a flat tone of voice. I watched the barista remake it and the caramel is not Torani caramel. It’s some sort of dark liquidy knockoff. No cinnamon was put on top. Soy milk did not taste like soy milk.

Worst part was the drink tasted exactly the same as the first one. I asked if I should throw the first one away, I was given a “yes” with a side eye.

tl;dr - they burn espresso beans and have cheap substitutes for additional items that go beyond syrup and milk substitutes. Also ordered a double smoked bacon sandwich but it came out too hot so it dried...

Went to the Seward Starbucks within CARRs, and there was only one gal working(on a busy Sunday around 9:30AM before 4th of July)---she was great! got there at 5:55am and the employee refused to even speak to me, she said i don’t have to open for 4 more minutes. i went back up at 6am and she still refused to wait on me so we went to the gas station and had excellent service. do better Starbucks worst experience ever.
