It’s hard to find the words to explain how incredible Hannah, Erika, and the rest of the Sewickley quarter team has been to work with over the past year as we planned our wedding at the Sewickley quarter. The space is truly magical, and Hannah has thought of every little detail that makes hosting an event at SQ the best experience, EVER. In fact, when Kurt and I met with Hannah for the first time, we took a tour of the venue, the “Speakeasy” grooms suite, the glamorous bridal “champagne” suite, the Couples Romance suite, the Paris bar, and the venue’s New Orleans style bar, we didn’t need any time to talk over our decision to move forward in booking the venue.
Hannah is also an experienced and talented wedding planner (this is a HUGE plus) and has the special skills to play the therapist role when wedding planning becomes stressful ;). Hannah kept us on track, helped us making decisions, and connected us with her list of preferred vendors which were all excellent choices (she’s also very happy to have any vendors that she hasn’t previously worked with as well). Additionally, we wanted to find creative “surprises” for the evening to make our evening unique and fun. Hannah had several great ideas that we ended up implementing such as a a surprise New Orleans style Dixie Band parade, an Espresso Martini tower in lieu of a cake, and having our dog surprise everyone by being our ring bearer during the ceremony. The coordination and attention to detail was the reason these fun additions were flawlessly executed. Lastly, there are so many gorgeous places to take photos in this venue so I CANT wait to see the rest of my photos! We also have to rave about the food and the specialty cocktails (on tap!!) that we chose: Erika is a talented chef who worked with us to pick unique food choices, and made sure to cater to food allergies and restrictions while providing delicious and creative options.

Read moreWe got married at Sewickley Quarter on 9/16/23. It was the absolute most perfect day and I would highly recommend getting married there! Hannah is an amazing asset to the venue - she was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. She went to in person vendor meetings with me, gave recommendations on which vendors to book, helped me decide on food and decor choices when I couldn't decide on my own, and called the vendors to ensure proper timelines. I truly would have been lost without her and her team.
We initially chose the venue when it was brand new and they have only continued to make more and more beautiful since then. Each space is decorated so beautifully and makes for the perfect background for all of your photos. I loved that we didnt have to rent plates/silverwear/glassware unlike other venues and that the tent was included in the price. The main ceremony/reception area felt like the perfect size - we were close to all of our guests and be together with everyone, but not too crowded. We also loved that it was nestled in the beautiful town of Sewickley which is such a cute destination for out of town guests.
The food was fantastic. Our guests loved all of their food - from appetizers to the salad to the main course. They allow you to choose your own custom cocktails on tap which is such a fun and unique detail. The drinks taste and look absolutely amazing. The staff was polite and accommodating. They were very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well.
All of my vendors raved about how easy it was to work with Hannah and how organized setup was on the wedding day. SQ also works with Day Of for wedding day coordination and our coordinator Katie was a so sweet and helpful and made the whole day go by smoothly. My husband and I felt so special and loved - truly they made us feel like celebrities.

Hannah is an AMAZING wedding planner/coordinator and person! She is extremely experienced and talented at what she does, is super professional and communicative, and is so attentive/warm. We were so grateful that she went out of her way to accommodate my/my husband’s busy work schedules and meet with us whenever we could. She kept us on track in a way that I think no one else could have and made this daunting process as easy as possible. She was ready and happy to help us make decisions big and small (sometimes really small, like she literally helped us pick the shape of our paper clips, and it looked great!). Hannah’s artistic/creative vision, guidance, patience, and experience helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams. On the day of, everything went off so smoothly thanks to her working tirelessly behind the scenes.
Chef Erika and Hannah helped us customize our menu to reflect our tastes, and we have gotten countless compliments on how delicious the food was. The thing I hear most often is that it was “the BEST wedding food” someone has ever had! The drinks were also perfection - our guests couldn’t get enough of them.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with so many different areas for unique photos. It stormed on the day of our wedding, and thanks to Hannah’s quick acting, she secured an extra wall for the tent, heaters, and beautiful drapes that kept our guests warm/happy and the area looking breathtaking. Not to mention, having a gorgeously decorated get ready suite for both the bride and the groom was so convenient and lovely - I got to hang out with my friends/family all morning while enjoying a delicious brunch board that Chef Erika prepared.
