Classic yinzer-Italian comfort-deli with a bit lower quality sandwiches and pizza plus Italian fare. A satisfied 3.5 star place, and some will really love it. Atmosphere is lively active. Workers everywhere with an energy moving things along. Note, not a lot of seating - a few tables outside and maybe 5 counter stools inside. Not a huge problem imo. It’s a deli largely - you grab and go. The food is ā€˜white bread’ quality throughout. Think soft Italian bread, ice berg lettuce, canned feeling tomatos baked en mass, etc — all with a slightly more blander taste. However, if you like soft classic manchinis bread without too much flavor excitement - and you aren’t a quality snob - you might really like it all. Pricing is modern day fine but not a super value. Perhaps bc this is Sewickley and it’s 2025 - that charging $15 (after add on fees and tax) for a cheaper quality white bread sub is acceptable. I was also a bit dismayed to see a ā€˜convenience fee’. Please put required costs or whatever ā€˜convenience’ means into the price - just be honest with the price upfront Overall this place is a local staple serving reliable italian basics. Maybe it’s just a more functional comfort food place than I like. The small amount of nickeling you doesn’t help either. That said if it was convenient and I wanted a get it done sub, and was in the area, I’d probably go again.

Was working in the area for a few days, not from around the area. Found this place driving by and decided to stop in. Man what a find! Anything on the menu is great. I ended up eating there for the remainder of my stay. Staff is really friendly. If you are looking for some authentic Italian food and great pizza and sandwiches, this is the place to be. If I lived in the area id be a daily customer.

Amazing staff, always friendly. Food is top notch as well. Weather you want breakfast or lunch the sandwiches and pizza never disappoint. The prepared dinners are just like Nana used to make. Can't say enough good things about this AMAZING place. Did I mention they cater too?!

Just stopped by for the first time and I'm just upset that I haven't been sooner! I got the California Love sandwich on a roll, one arancini, and a tiramisu. The sandwich was absolutely delicious; the roll was fresh and soft, the meat was very generous, and the mayo pesto was a perfect balance, not too bland nor overly herbaceous. The arancini was huge, and very good -- I'd love if they did a mushroom aracini, if only because that's my favorite kind and I know they'd nail it. I also shared a plain bread twist/roll and it was fresher than most twists I've had from other Italian/pizza restaurants. I haven't had the tiramisu yet -- saving it for dessert -- but I can't wait to try it.

Great service, friendly folks, so many niche Italian groceries available, and incredible fresh food. I can't wait to go back -- I'm gonna be thinking of this sandwich for...

Checking in as an Italian submarine connoisseur. First time at this place, I had no idea what I was walking into. I am not a native of the Sewickley/Edgeworth area. Was working as a contractor down the street today and needed to get some lunch. I passed by the inviting establishment and gave it a go. They instantly noticed me and told me their best sellers. I ordered the first one without even hearing the rest. Got back to the work site and DESTROYED that italian combo substitute teacher. Hands down best Italian sandwich I have ever eaten. The roasted reds really set it apart from competition. I also saw their fresh baked pepperoni rolls and ordered one as well. Average. But this italian combo is somn else. I’ll...
