Idk where these good reviews come from... I go late at night and the crew is horrendous.. In particular the tall monotone waitress with longer hair should probably find a new career field. One that does not involve customer service at all. I've had multiple issues with her.. She argues and doesn't admit mistakes and she can't tell the difference between over well and over medium.. She had to remake my eggs 3 times because she did not understand over well is a nearly solid yollk... She served me straight over easy not even medium twice... Runny whites... She kept arguing waffle House doesn't have a over medium well and when u ask for over medium well you get over easy. I very patiently decided to put all terminology aside and asked her to kindly cook the egg white and yolk to a semi solid state then flip the egg and cook a tad longer till the yolk is near solid.....
She still made it wrong.. Thats when I lost my patience....
It's a breakfast place ... Knowing how to cook eggs is basically mandatory requirement... Come on! But the worst part was her attitude the whole time... She treated me like I was beneath her and she could do no wrong ...
Then they messed up my next two orders
I stopped going to waffle House no joke after that ... Had it
Well it's been 6 months figured maybe a new crew ...
Go in and order Texas cheese steak melt , asked if there was onions and mushrooms on it... They said just onions ...
I ended up with the patty burger not the cheese steak ..
They were nice enough to fix it for me but rudely blamed me for the mistake... " I was standing right there you said patty melt"
This is not true I will admit I pointed at the patty melt but I clearly asked for cheese steak twice , why would I ask about mushrooms on a burger... Besides they both have the exact same name Texas patty Melt or Texas cheese steak melt come on! Don't be rude about an easy mix up....
They fixed it but man I'm so over waffle House all together it's been 6 months since my last order ... Never again... And I know it's common for people to claim that because I work in the business so I know how it is... But when I boycott something they won't see my businesses or anyone elses that i know for a while...

Read moreI go to this waffle house almost 3 times a week for the past five years. Trust me I don’t expect superior customer service every single time, everybody has their days but tonight was just terrible. Nina was extremely high and had an AirPod in and was on the phone texting while taking my order!!? Then proceeds to get angry and have an attitude when she has to ask what I said, because she didn’t hear me! (Nina did not have a hair net on or her hair up. No gloves and touched my food with her hands after watching her touch money, pens, and her phone.) So while making my food she burnt my waffle, and when I asked to see it she groaned as if it was and inconvenience and walked away so then I asked Vicky and she said “ im busy. Im not your server, so ask her” and rolled her eyes. Not only did she charge for items we didn’t get it but then proceeded to not listen and not take the charge off. When I had asked for Tabasco in a side cup she said no we don’t have lids even though I said I don’t mind I’ll just hold it. If I’m such an inconvenience then you don’t need to be a server. If you don’t like your job or tips then it’s not the job for you. I will be finding out how to get a hold of corporate or whoever owns this one exactly and letting them know how terrible my night was. As well as showing them...
Read moreI work at waffle house.... but it seems everytime I come to this specific one in the afternoon or during the night shift usually only the cooks has ever bothered to try and get my order . Half the time I have to write my own ticket and I have to ask three to four times for the basic things like silverware or my drink... groups who arrive after me are greeted served and gone by the time a server even looks at me long enough to ask if I am going to order anything... the reasoning I get for them ignoring me is that they didn't know I want to order or they thought I was there to see someone....what is with this . They admitted they ignore me purpose because I'm the significant other of someone who works there. Then get mad when they are called out on it because it happens even when they aren't working.... then instead of following policy by having sections they are doing ups. For those who don't know what ups are it's where you take turns taking tables. Instead of having assigned tables that you are in charge of taking care of. Though they claim they have sections though both are taking tables in the same section.... at least the cooks pay attention to what's is...
