Shallotte crossing is another Mecca in the area of the city limits. It contains a home Depot. A Belk. That also has adjacent substores that include Kay's drawer, Great clips. And a food place. I think Papa John's? There is plenty of parking in the area. And on the opposite end are an endless road of other restaurants a small breakfast diner. A Japanese steakhouse. The Chinese restaurant. That Mexican cuisine restaurant. An Italian joint. And a pet store at the end. You could probably spend a few hours shopping between all the places here. With ample space to park any size...

We went to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse with a total of 10 people, including 3 children under 5. Our chef, Boone, was amazing! Not only did he remember and use the names of all 3 wee ones, but he actually got a few laughs out of my stodgy son. He likes to be miserable, but he enjoyed himself that night. Actually, we all did.
