Snyder's — Restaurant in Shamokin

I was here for the first time after riding the Pennsylvania Tail of the Dragon, which ends in Shamokin. It's a nice old neighborhood place and reminds me of the eateries that existed back in the day in the northwest section of Reading. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Was much better after leaving the bar drunk 20 years ago. Service was slower than slow. "Homefries" were actually undercooked shredded (mushy) hashbrowns. Still trying to figure out what the "cheese" was on top of them. A "medium" steak that had zero pink in it. THAT must've been why we waited 30 mins for breakfast! To overcook the steak! the food was absolutely delicious !everything was homemade the best breakfast ever! the service was fast the waitresses and everybody that works there has such a great positive friendly ettitude- I mean the people are awesome! And when I tell you they are Beyond affordable I live by this a family of 4 had full complete meals and beverages for under $23 you can't beat it God bless...
