12/15/18 I placed an order for delivery. It took almost exactly 1 hour to arrive. I have a driveway and it was raining, however the driver called me and I had to go out to the street to get my food. Almost everything was cold as it could be, I have never had cold Chinese food in my life, it’s always cooked hot and fresh.. the actual taste of the food was great, even though it was cold it had great flavor. The only other problem I experienced is that my Kung pow chicken had very little chicken in it, it was mostly just vegetables in the sauce also the chicken and broccoli did have plenty of chicken but it is all very very small slices of chicken. I mean TINY PIECES of chicken. Portion sizes were pretty large. All in all not a great experience tonight, but like I said the taste is really good. If it didn’t taste good I would have to give 1 star. Slow delivery, cold food, inconsiderate driver, good...
Read moreSzechuan House used to be the place to go for good Asian food......NOT ANY MORE! Tonight I ordered an egg roll and an order of Kung Pao Chicken. It was not just sub-standard, it was horrible! Either the owners or the employees are taking advantage of the clientele. The egg roll had been fried hours before to the point that the crust was actually chewy. I was almost afraid to put the Kung Pao Chicken in my mouth because as I was driving home with my order, there was so much oil staining the bag which had been sitting straight up the time, that was afraid that indigestion would insue from the food being drenched in oil and the peanuts in the Kung Pao Chicken were stale to-boot. Talk about adding insult to injury, you could taste the stale peanut through the spicy sauce. If this what the Szechuan House has become, then I hope they do have close their doors forever. Believe me, it would be...
Read moreSuper friendly and accomodatig staff and a nice medium sized buffet. I like that it's not just full of chicken dishes. The Moo Shu Pork was a great find on the buffet. I don't even ask for the sauce/pancakes because it is probably to most perfectly salted Moo Shu recipe I've ever had. It tastes so good that I only have it wit a little rice and chili oil. I went back a second visit.to make.sure it wasn't a fluke and sure.enough... Moo Shu Awesomeness! The workers are hard working. The restaurant is pretty strict on the buffet times and stop bringing out new/hot food promptly at 2:30.
Overall a great quiet spot with avove average Chinese Food that has a hint of love and possibly a few long-standing family recipes.
Will be back with family soon for another delicious...
