My friend and I went to this Chili's Wed. June 9th at 5:40pm. We entered and sat at an empty bar. We were celebrating our birthdays which was obvious as we had a gift bag with a birthday balloon attached sitting on the bar. We sat at the empty bar for over 10 mins before seeing or being greeted by a bartender. It was clear she was also tasked with waiting on the bar tables (which I understand as it helps their income and is helpful if the store is somewhat under staffed) So in trying to be patient, we waited and were finally greeted by a young female staff member. We ordered 2 blue margaritas, chips and guacamole, and 2 waters. Approximately 5-10 mins later a female manager went behind the bar to make our drinks. She abruptly sat them on the bar and walked off without saying a word. In the meantime, we never received our waters, menus, napkins, and we received chips and salsa instead of the chips and guacamole. While we were experiencing such poor service, a mother and her younger daughter got up from one of the bar booths to leave and wished us luck on getting any kind of service as they looked like they did not have a good experience on any level as well. After being in the building for 30 mins, never seeing the bartender/server, never receiving the basic items we asked for as previously mentioned, we opted to pay our check for the 2 drinks and leave. Our drinks were not accessible from the table top app to pay for, so I went to the host desk where the MOD was doing absolutely nothing, and asked her for our check. With zero sense of urgency, she came behind the bar and printed the check. At this time I explained to her our experience including asking her name and letting her know I thought she was rude and extremely unhelpful. She could not have cared less! There are always challenges during every shift of maintaining excellent execution, especially post COVID times with staffing, but then management has to step up, be helpful, be creative and promote better teamwork, have a sense of urgency, and actually care about your job. Dine in for the restaurant was not extremely busy, and curb side did not look unmanageable either. I love going to Chili's and have stayed away from this location for a long time because of the service issues. I came back hoping the experience provided had changed to a good one...I was wrong...I know the challenges of staffing a store with great staff, and I especially know the challenges of having managers that care. There is a real struggle at this location and I hope the GM and staff can rally to make it better and enjoyable...
Read moreI hate to even give this review as I've always enjoyed going to Chili's. My family and I were in the area after family pictures at the park. Hungry and wanting to visit, I voted on Chili's. There were 9 of us and we were seated in a nice area closer to west side with a full table. Waitress was nice and got our drink order. Gave us time to review the menu. (Which looked new to me)Came back to get our order. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, well done with fries. Waited sometime for our food but was thinking it would be good and hot. It wasnt. The fries were cold and the burger after second bite was raw in the middle. My sister got the new QP burger and hers was less pink, but not fully cooked. I had to walk my plate up to where two ladies were standing and showed the girl my burger and asked if they could cook it well done like I had asked. She was very kind and stated she would take care of it. While my family was enjoying their meal, I was waiting on mine. About 15 min later after asking where my food was at, they brought me my burger without fries. Said they would be out shortly. I had eaten my whole burger and a plate of burning hot fries came out. I had asked for the manager as I was eating my burger and had mentioned not getting my fries but saw orders with fries going to other tables. Manager and waitress were nice and manager comped my burger but not my drink, strange. We had to get up and ask for drink refills. Not much waitress attention for a big group. I'm not sure if I'll go back. Come on Chili's, do better! I'm disappointed as I've always gotten good service...
Read morePoor service, Slow food preparation, and overall bad experience. I know with restaurants it can be hit or miss. This one was a total miss! My wife, daughter and I decided to go for a quick meal since this was right by our house. The order was essentially appetizers (triple decker, chips and queso, four sliders). You would think this would be pretty quick and easy to make. NOPE! The server forgot the water we asked for, didn't provide any napkins or silverware, or the requested condiments needed for the food. I ended up getting up and grabbing these items my self. The food took about 30 minutes to come out. When it finally did they had messed up the order for the sliders, We asked for them to be plain, and they put the ranch on it! We started to eat a few of the fries while we waited for the server to come out from the back so we could get new sliders prepared. Once the server finally returned we noticed they didn't bring us back any of our fries back. So we lost about half the order. I get they may not have wanted to return us the old fries but at least give us fresh ones. If not a full order at least the amount we had. The icing on the cake was when I tried to give a review and leave feedback on the table top tablet it shut off while I was trying to...
