Harley's Hideaway Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Shawnee

The place has the right name, it's stuck in a little spot but it's nice, I ran across them on the book of face, start conversing with them going through their page checking out their food and I was intrigued, they talked about their chicken wings they say they actually season their wings and then cook them I'm like isn't that what you supposed to do but a lot of places do not song with there it's a partake of this in a few other things and I was enlightened that today was thirsty Thursday we're all well drinks were $1 and premium was $3, all the staff did I encounter was friendly oh, I was a little hesitant about going to the bar in reference to the environment being that I am a man of color and it was a different type of bar but let me put everyone's fear at rest all are welcome well at least that's how I felt when I arrived oh, so with this being said I thank you and I will touch on how the food was on another site, but the chicken wings...

FABULOUS FOOD and HOSPITALITY! We used to go to this location years ago when it was a Margarita's, hadn't taken the opportunity to visit it as Harley's Hideaway. But my wife and I deliver together for Doordash, and have picked up orders here before and it always smelled delicious. How right we were!

Tonight we got to try three different burgers-- all terrific! My personal favorite is the "Queso Fiesta", and my wife Danielle loved the "Old Dog Gouda". Generous portions, too!

What also stood out in a big way was the friendliness of both the guy at the bar and the gal at the grill. It was near midnight on a Saturday night, but they couldn't have been nicer-- seriously! My second time here, but this time I finally got the chance to get some food. I’m a burger and fries type person and I usually like a place based on that. I ordered a cheese burger with steak fries with queso and bacon bits on top (not to many place so this). It was wonderful, had that homemade taste that I look for. The burger was juice and the fries were just right, not to thick and not to thin. I love having cheese on my fries and it hit the spot.

I wanted the double burger but I had photography work to do and I wanted to be function-able so I stuck with the single cheeseburger and I’m glad I did but it was enough.
