Where to start.... We were the second family in the dining area and it took 15 minutes to get our food. Then we couldn't make out what we had in front of us because of the inept crackhead element in the kitchen couldn't differentiate the various burritos with any kind of markings to let anyone know what was what. And then we were shorted a burrito. I had a chalupa box and the chalupa was stale and crumbling and the lettuce was mostly the middle or the heart of the lettuce which was fairly stale itself. My taco shell was broken and they just put the broken piece in place so it would hold together. And then we had to sit and listen to the local toothless crackhead element working in the kitchen gripe about how we were just trying to get free food and make jokes about having to mark the food as it was made. The manager was at least decent and she offered free drinks for the kids and free desserts but we didn't need or want any. I don't think we could have eaten anything else as nasty as it was already. We live in Branson and we eat at Taco Bell there all the time and our restaurants have half the people working and are WAY faster and look a lot cleaner than the toothless crackheads that work here and DO NOT stay in the back bad mouthing the customers who do not have to settle for the sh*t you scumbags who can't seem to get right try to put out and figure the people won't care. I would caution you to eat at this Taco Bell. Oh yeah, the manager taking our receipt and keeping it was a nice touch. That way we couldn't call and report it...
Read moreStopped by with my daughter for a quick meal. Usually, we go to the Taco Bell on Harrison, but went to the Kickapoo location instead. The food was prepared fairly quick. Unfortunately, we both threw half of our meal away. My beefy 5-layer burrito (my favorite burrito on the menu) was flavors except for the heat of the cheese sauce. It really surprised me that they managed to make it so bland. Not what I've normally experienced. My daughter ordered a classic Mexican Pizza. She loves those normally, but she ended up only peeling off the top layer of tortilla and throwing out the rest. She to found the beans to be pasty and bland. She was disappointed also that there was no taco meat in the burrito. The meal also came with the unexpected "entertainment" of the manager verbally dressing down an employee so loud that we could hear it. Other employees keep giving us very uncomfortable looks of embarrassment at the manager's behavior. I have worked in both fast food and in restaurants over the years. That type of humiliating behavior by a manager towards an employee was never allowed. I actually felt bad for the kid. Literally all he did was clock in and she loudly ripped him a new one. She made him clock back out and wanted him to wait an hour before clocking back in. If she didn't want him clocking in at his scheduled time, them she should have notified him before he came to work, not yet at him...
Read moreNot really satisfied with Taco Bell's relatively recent change to the tostada(I realize it has been this way over a year at least).
This is a double tostada, minus lettuce, plus sour cream. There seems to be very little cheese. I inquired about the amount of cheese, and was informed that that was the standard amount, and they could make it again, but it would look the same.
I believe it was the manager who asked, "is that the spicy tostada?" I told her no, it is the double. They can't even tell the difference between the two. Because there isn't ever any difference. I have ordered both in the same order more than once to see if i could ascertain what was double about it. Except the spicy is 89 cents cheeper, and has an additional sauce, but no tomatoes.
She informed the that the double tostada is supposed to get a finger pinch of cheese. I realize without the lettuce, the cheese may look less substantial, however this looks pretty bad. This image was taken less than a minute after we recieved the order. Very dissapointing. The one that I believe was the manager did offer us a side of cheese.
I feel like maybe I was so irritated about this as i feel like taco bell has taken the standard tostada and nearly doubled the price, and given it a new name. It should not be named double. It isn't ever...
