Taco Bell — Restaurant in Shawnee

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I believe in this case it is warranted. Yesterday evening, my wife and I decided to dine at Taco Bell and decided to go through the drive-through to take it home. I pulled up to the speaker and the menu board and my wife and I sat there looking and deciding what we wanted to order. Once we decided on something, we sat there patiently waiting for the employee to ask us what we would like to order. But after about three minutes of not getting any response, I decided to pull forward as I thought maybe they weren’t even open. Once we were up to the actual window, I could see one or two employees moving around inside so I knew they were open but no one came to the window so after about 30 seconds I tapped the horn. Finally a young lady came to the window and looked perplexed. I said what is going on? I asked that because I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting ant response from anybody. I explain to the young lady that we had been setting out at the speaker, but no one said anything to us, and she said hang on, closed the window and left. A few seconds later, a gentleman came to the window and asked if he could help us. He was heavyset, and I believe had a big thick beard that he had a hairnet over. I explain to him that we had been sitting out at the menu board by the speaker, but got no response from anyone and his response to me was well. My headset did not go off. He said whenever someone pulls up to the menu board by the speaker we are alerted in here. I said to the young man well I’m not lying about it. We sat out there for a few minutes and no one responded. He said, well all I know is if you had been sitting there I would’ve known. He was flat out calling me and my wife a liar. I said to him, well, could you please take our order and he said no. He said you will have to drive back around and get back in line. I was surprised by this and said you’ve got to be kidding me. I said it’s not my fault. You guys were not alerted that I was in line back there waiting to be helped. Then he basically said if you were sitting back there, I would’ve known it… Once again, calling me a liar. My wife and I are not liars. After trying to reason with him for just a second more, he slammed the little glass door right in our face. I proceeded to tap my horn and he slam the window back open, and I insisted that I get the managers name and number and he threw some receipt at me and said here, he’ll be here tomorrow. My wife and I pulled away absolutely stunned by this young man’s attitude and rudeness. I have not yet had a chance to speak with the manager of this location yet, but I am definitely going to speak with him. If I don’t get satisfaction from the manager of that store, I will go to the district manager. there is absolutely no excuse for the way we...

When we pulled up I asked to place 4 separate orders which the reply was a hateful we can’t do that. Which it was 12:10 a.m. and the inside wasn’t open for us to go in to do separate orders so I went ahead and placed one order and paid for everyone’s. I ordered a medium Mountain Dew Baja blast freeze with my order. I got to the window and gave her my card and she proceeded to hand me a medium Mountain Dew which I replied that it was suppose to be a freeze and she hatefully replied your freeze is coming and I told her I didn’t order a Mountain Dew and handed it back to her. She looked at it and said well do you just want to keep it since you already paid for it. So me being me and i just took it instead of arguing for a refund. While sitting there she had the drive thru window open and make a comment to the guys working using the f word which was highly unprofessional. Then more cars started pulling in and she made the comment loudly “God they just keep coming.” She then handed me our food so I pulled out and back in the other side to check our order in which we were shorted a quesadilla and one of our other quesadillas was wrong but I didn’t send it back my kid just went ahead and ate what was given. So I then get back in line and when I pull up to the speaker she said “what can I get you and we can’t accept cards right now so it’s cash only and we can’t give change” I told her I was missing a quesadilla and we pulled forward. The jeep behind us came around got out of his vehicle and was screaming cussing at someone and then left not sure who he was cussing. Then I pull up to the window she then yells she needs a chicken quesadilla and she gets it hands it to us and we leave. When my got it she looked and it was a steak quesadilla but I didn’t go back and she ate what she was given. I will say that we stopped there earlier that day on our way to Oklahoma City and the staff during the day was extremely nice and helpful that even the teenagers with me commented on them. I'd like to start off by saying that i love Taco Bell.

This Taco Bell on Harrison Street in Shawnee, Ok has really gone downhill. The service is horrible. I've been in multiple times and generally all the tables are dirty and the floors are even worse.

My last visit was 9/9/2016 at 6:49 pm. Most likely not a busy time of day. And this time it wasn't busy. There was one other group in the store when i walked in.

We ordered about $20 worth of food. The order took a normal amount of time, maybe 7 minutes. The employee called my name, and i walked up to her to get my food. It is on two trays, and she hands it directly to me, from her hands to mine. I instantly notice that there is something missing as i walk back to my seat. It is the bag of nacho chips. I sit the trays n my table, and walk directly back up to the counter. I was away from the counter literally about 20 seconds.

I proceed to stand patiently at the counter for someone to acknowledge me. I stand there for 8 minutes. Four different employees look at me, but none of them say anything. For instance, "Can i help you?"

Finally, the employee who handed my food to me initially, walks towards the counter carrying two other guests trays, calls their names, hands them their food, and turns around and walks away.

She was standing 2 feet from me. Never acknowledges me. Why am I here?

At this point i am furious. I say "Excuse me!, Does no one see me standing here?"

They all look at me dumbfounded. I tell them all that i have been standing here for 7-8 minutes and no one even has the time to say "Can I help you?"

I told them that they forgot part of my order. They acted like it was a burden to complete my order. Absolute...
