This was the second time I had ate at this restaurant. The first time it was absolutely great and could wait to go back and take my husband. So we went here today to celebrate my birthday this past week and it was so beyond disappointing. We sat at a table and multiple servers walked by looking at us and I was very patient even knowing they were extremely busy but after 10 minutes of waiting I finally reached out to a server walking by and she acted like I was bothering her and she walked back over and said I will be your server and we went ahead and ordered our drinks, app which was the Big A onion rings which I had gotten before and it was huge and great but this time there were bearly any onion rings and the portion was extremely different from the last time I was there. Then I had ordered the 16oz good ol ribeye that was suppose to be medium adding garlic butter to it with a loaded bake potato and a Caesar salad which the the waitress brought out the salad about 3 minute before the food arrived to the table which wasn’t normal and we had saw many people that arrived after us already gotten there food and had already left and one of them had the same waitress as we did. I don’t complain much at restaurants due to the fact I have worked in that industry before and respect the restaurant industry especially waitresses but I feel like this was very intentional and was wrong. When my steak came out they had me cut into it and it was still very very rare so she took that back and left me my bake potato which I slowly ate it while waiting for my steak to come back out. My brother and husband had already finished there plates by the time my steak came back out which was the same exact steak I had and I cut it again and the was cooked properly but then when I took a bite, it was so burnt and the flavor of steak was gone. I was so disappointed cause my last visit made me have such high hopes and this one wasn’t good at all. The waitress brought the manager over and she just took it off the bill and I didn’t eat anymore. My husband cut a piece and he tried it and he spit it right back out. The rolls and cinnamon butter and the bake potato was the only good things I ate and sadly that was my birthday dinner. I’m so upset that this happened and how we were so dismissed and not even acknowledge much when we were there. I had started telling people that the food was better than Texas Roadhouse but now I regret even saying that. I would had better service and food at Texas Roadhouse even where they are super busy compared to Santa Fe that wasn’t even that busy until when we finally left is when they started to pick up more.

The chicken was really good. Great salad. The asparagus was not how I liked. I asked if it was cooked crisp and was told it was. However it was un-chewable! However, they had three greeters just standing around entry podium laughing for the hour and half I was there. Overall, the taste and friendly waitress outweighed my first world problems lol

Food was great even tho it was served the wrong way BUT the service was AWFUL.. we asked for more rolls and the waitress lied to us and told us they were out..and a waitress carried 3 basket fulls to the table next to ours right after them telling us they had none... Asked again for rolls from manager and ..SURPRISE..there was rolls, however some of them were burned when brought out ..will absolutely never go back there.. the really surprsing thing was the manager and our waitress sat down in the dining room where we were and ate some food, then to get up and come check on us without washing her hands.. they failed the sanitary test as well.. and they were eating finger food at their table.. and to add more insult, the manager knew about the waitress lying to us and seemed ok with it...smh. AHHH..NEVER AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.. AND the response I got from posting this review was not sufficient.. a clean and healthy store has nothing to do with the dishonesty to us and blatant disregard for its patrons (especially in the current world environment) by not only the waitress but the manager as well... THEY WERE EATING WHILE SERVING PEOPLE THEIR FOOD.. WE DID NOT FINISH OUR MEAL OUT OF FEAR OF GETTING SICK AT THAT POINT.. the waitress did not wash her hands before coming to our table or the other of her tables either.. WE HAVE COVID-19 RUNNING RAMPANT.. it was a wasted 49$ of our money.. does this response mean that the sante fe company condones lying to its patrons by their staff? The waitress got mad when we asked the manager for more rolls.. the only thing we did was come in 55 mins b4 the restaurant closed.. technically that's not even wrong.. but it was all we could come up with THAT WOULD BE A REASON WHY WE WERE TREATED AS WE WERE..and that was after we got our food (which was two steak meals, ) and the steak had been cut up and slapped on top of the French fries.. literally. WE PAID FOR A MEAL WE DIDNT GET TO ENJOY NOT EVEN 10 MINS AFTER IT COMING OUT TOTALLY WRONG, WE WERE SCARED THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING TO THE FOOD IF WE SENT IT BACK, HOWEVER AFTER SHE DELIVERED THE FOOD, SHE WENT TO SIT BACK DOWN AND STARTED EATING FOOD WITH HER HANDS WITH HER "MANAGER" AND WE ENDED UP LEAVING.. we were frequent patrons of 3 diff sante fe restaurants, Not anymore...especially not after this extremely flippant response to our initial posting to this GIGANTIC PROBLEM..I WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH THE BBB AND WHOMEVER I NEED TO FURTHER THIS REVIEW TO. .. AND I NOTICED SOMETHING ELSE!... IF THE REVIEW IS GOOD ON HERE THEN THEY PROVIDE AN ACTUAL PERSON WITH A PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT TO GIVE THEM MORE REASONS TO BE PRAISED FOR THE( AND I USE THIS TERM LOOSELY) "SERVICE" PROVIDED, HOWEVER IF IT ISNT A GOOD REVIEW THEY SEND U THIS BELOW SUB STANDARD RESPONSE LIKE I GOT INITIALLY... IF A RESTAURANT CARES ABOUT THE PATRON REVIEWS AND THE MISTAKES THATS BEING MADE IN THEIR NAME, THEN THEY WOULD PROVIDE A NAME AND NUMBER WITH ALL REVIEWS FOR A PERSON WHO ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT GOOD PEOPLE WHO ARE WASTING THEIR MONEY AT THEIR...

This local hangout has a modern fast paced where the dedication to keeping there customers happy now I know that they are not going to be able to please everyone I will say I’ve seen entire families dining in the wait times are not bad I will advise you that if you show up after 6:00 pm be ready for a small wait time. I was impressed with the level of attention to detail that I witnessed along an uplifting attitude the atmosphere is relaxing but again fast I’ve looked at a few things about the cleanliness and clearing of tables getting ready for their next group is very detailed a little long on food delivery. But the wait is worth it in the interest of being fair it’s easier to e critical of a dining experience but I think that there is room for improvement but my overall experience was great so you want to take your new squeeze to get a great meal with ability to still be able to be romantic tucked away in a corner or watch a great ballgame or boxing match with your server’s treatment and uplifting and appreciated for you stopping in they are having a blast while taking care of you is a positive sign that things are starting to be as close to normal as possible this place is worth stopping in and if you’re not satisfied I encourage you to ask for the manager explain your problem and let them know how they can improve your experience because everyone loves the positive feedback but we can’t grow personally if we can’t hear where we can improve and I can say they want you to be positive and honest I would very happy to dine in again with no problem at all especially when my brother-in-law is paying....
