This is the combination of a few experiences at this specific chipotle.
They are often out of guacamole.
Today’s visit at lunchtime where it was not very busy, they were out of guacamole out of cheese and out of salsa
I’m going to repeat that again. They are out of cheese out of guacamole out of salsa.
When I asked the line worker if they could make more cheese so we could at least have a reasonable meal from a Mexican restaurant, the four line workers were completely helpless and unable to do anything.
They explained to me that it was company policy that they could not leave the line and that they only had one prep worker in the back, trying to do everything.
I asked if they had cheese they said they had it in the back, but they could not go get it and it would have to get cut up by the prep worker in the back.
I said why don’t we do that? They wouldn’t let that happen. It was really frustrating because there was only one person behind us and even that person definitely wanted some of the ingredients that they were not going to make.
The staff just stood their helpless like deer in headlights.
This specific restaurant needs a lot of training and a lot of help. I have no idea what’s going on with Chipotle as a company and we have all seen it go downhill, but just the ineptitude I saw today from the employees was mind-boggling.
When we let them know that we just weren’t going to order, and we were kind about it, not one of them took a moment to offer us some sort of free burrito or free bag of chips customer service card anything. It was just like they didn’t care.
Last time we went, they were also out of cheese, guacamole, salsa, chips, and one of the meats. I understand the meat. But seriously, how do you not have most of the...
Read moreWaiting in drive thru for over an hour. Still haven’t received food. This is unacceptable. Food was supposed to be picked up an hour ago. Very very slow.
Update: Finally got to the window. Food wasn’t made. They said they didn’t want to give us cold food. Over an hour and still don’t have food from my original pick up time. Got home. Supposed to have double meat. It’s less than a single serving. 🤦🏼♂️
UPDATE: July 22, 2022 Decided to try this location again and glad I did. We just got back from Florida after driving over 24 hours to get back because my wife and 2nd oldest daughter tested positive for covid and our oldest daughter is sick but tested negative for covid. Enough with the blabber and on to what happened. My wife did a mobile order. I went and picked it up through the pick up window. I get home and my wife’s food is made wrong. I called and got through to a manager. Her name was Jordan. I explained the entire situation and she was very apologetic. She gave me some options on what they could do to resolve the issue. I informed her that I only live a few minutes away and could swing back up and come through the pick up window. I pulled up and the young man came to the window and greeted me promptly. I let him know I had spoken to Jordan and she was going to make my wife’s food and have it ready. And to my surprise it was already sitting there ready to go. Jordan came over to the window and apologized again. What a huge change from my last experience. Companies need more employees like her and the young man at the window. Thank you guys and your team for the awesome experience and quickly correcting the food order. Keep up...
Read moreI recently dined at Chipotle and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience. Before I dive into that, let me share my overall impressions of the restaurant.
The atmosphere at Chipotle was inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful while I placed my order. I've enjoyed their bowls in the past, and the chicken bowl I ordered looked promising.
However, my visit took a drastic turn when I got food poisoning after consuming the chicken bowl. It was a deeply unpleasant and uncomfortable experience that left me quite ill. This was an unfortunate incident, and I hope Chipotle takes it seriously and addresses any food safety concerns.
Despite this unfortunate event, I want to acknowledge the good aspects of Chipotle that I've enjoyed on previous visits. Their food is usually tasty, and the customizable options allow for a variety of combinations. The staff has consistently been courteous and efficient in the past, making it a convenient dining choice.
In conclusion, my recent experience at Chipotle was marred by a severe case of food poisoning, which has left me hesitant about returning anytime soon. I urge Chipotle to thoroughly investigate and address food safety concerns to ensure the well-being of their customers. I hope to see improvements in this regard so that others can continue to enjoy their delicious offerings without any...
