Imagine Bed Bath & Beyond mixed with Pier1 Imports mixed with Ikea and this is what you get. The store is absolutely huge and filled with any/every sort of home decor item imaginable, indoor and outdoor. Not only do they have a wide array of items to choose from, most of them come in a wide variety of colors, too. The first time I went, I spent over 2 hours just looking through all the aisles (take a look at the photos I've uploaded and you'll see!) The prices are reasonable (like what you'd expect at Target or Kohl's or something) but the merchandise is truly unique.
Items they sell include furniture, statues, rugs, lamps, artificial plants, bedding, storage solutions, wall decor (a good 20% of the store is dedicated to this!), outdoor items (patio sets, hammocks, planters, pillows, chair pads, waterfalls, bird baths, etc.), kitchen supplies (dinnerware, utensils, towels, food storage, etc.), cleaning supplies, and much much more.
Just go visit, but make sure to leave enough time in your schedule to fully experience all that they have to offer. (It's too bad they don't display their merchandise on their website, but maybe that's intentional so that you go visit the store.) The 10% coupon I got for signing up for their newsletter was nice, too. I hope they send more coupons/discount offers...
Read moreWith high hopes, my mom and I stopped into At Home in Sheffield today in hopes to find 2 matching barstools. We found exactly what we were looking for. The display of the barstools had 2 "display" items of the exact same type and only 1 regular so we took one of the display barstools up to the register in order to try and purchase both one regular and one "display item." Our cashier was unsure if he could sell us the "display" item, despite it being a multiple. He called over his manager "Duane" who very rudely told us that he was "absolutely not" going to sell us the barstools and they have the sticker for a reason. He rudely told us and the cashier that is why the sticker is on there and they are never to sell an item on display. He told us they do not want to have to build any more display items, so they did not want to sell one of them. I would typically understand if the policy would not allow it, but the customer service and way this manager handled the situation was completely wrong and rude. I have worked at a very similar store in retail before and needless to say, we did not treat customers, particularly very polite and compliant ones this way. My mom and I left without buying and will not be returning to an "At Home"...
Read moreSuch an unpleasant experience shopping here last night due to the manager! I came in to pick up a Christmas tree as life has been busy. Anywho, my kids and I pick up a tree and some accessories to go with it. I pay, look at my receipt and tell her it rang up full price there’s a sign showing $97. I paid full price $129.99. I show her the picture we took to identify the box a few isles later. She looks at the pic, checks the date and time stamp. Asks me where is the display. My 15yr walks her over and she tells my daughter we picked the wrong box & the sign is just a general sign. I’m angry because the box was B15 same one as the floor sign and display!!!!!! I point to our box B15! I get flustered, I work in Hospice last thing I want to do is debate about your floor sign. I tell her you know what just refund me everything. I’d rather go elsewhere. She paused and said she could price adjust, I am no thank you. Proceeds to have an attitude and tells me it’s not necessary to do all this. I sit in silence wondering why she didn’t have any holiday spirit in her heart over $30 dollars. I purchased 19 items for a total of $219.00 What a shame! I would never step foot in here...
