Ordered our food online. Said it would be ready 30 minutes from the time we ordered, definitely normal time. Get there and park in the curbside parking lot. I call the number, they hung up on me twice 😩! By the time I got through AGAIN, she took my name, model of our truck and the number we was parked in. Said she would be out as soon as it’s ready (this is about 45 after we ordered our food). Another 35 minutes goes by and no one has came out to us. This time I am mad BUT I also understand things happen. I go inside and a EMPLOYEE is holding the door for every customer BUT doesn’t great me or ask me if I’m dining or taking out. I finally find the checkout counter. The customer in front of me lets me go ahead of him, he’s says they have been waiting for awhile in their car as well and decided to come in, he goes on to tell me that there is only 1 employee cashing out all dine in and take out and CURBSIDE 😳! I go to the counter and she asks my name I give it to her and she grabs my food and I check my order and my whole entire order is cold! It’s been sitting in there the whole time! I felt so bad for the lady that had a line of customers she had to cash out all by herself 😔. I took my cold food home and tried to heat it up and eat it but the potatoes was stuck to the container and the roast beef was so fatty and mushy. We threw a 50$ order in the trash and went and got food somewhere else. If you offer curbside then you should probably have a couple Employees just doing that and not having 1 employee on a Saturday night dinner cashing out ALL customers and running orders out to people’s cars 😔. Just a suggestion tho. Thanks...
Read moreWe love Cracker Barrel and usually never have an issue. This most recent visit was beyond frustrating. We didn’t have to wait at all to be seated which was great. Our server seemed like she didn’t know the menu when we started ordering. She said how she was new so we let it slide. My husband ordered a cheese burger and repeated numerous times he wanted only the burger and cheese on it. I ordered a hash brown casserole breakfast. When she brought out the food, my husbands burger had everything on it. We told her and she apologized and took it back. Mind you she took the burger with all the fries my toddler was eating. Then she still brought it out again with the lettuce, mayo and tomato but luckily it was on the side so he was still able to eat the burger. She didnt replace the fries either. She brought out my hashbrown casserole breakfast but it was literally only a hash brown side. I told her that was not what I ordered and showed her again what I wanted. She took it back and then came back again with the same thing and told me the cooks said this is what I ordered. I told her there is no way this is the $12 meal. She re read the menu and finally brought me the right meal. But by the time I got it my family was done eating and my toddler was fussy so I just boxed most of it up and left. We were also charged for the side of hashbrown that we never wanted and we didnt eat it because she took it back. One thing that did make me smile was seeing the one male worker running out in the rain to help customers get in without...
Read more4/5. Service was great, very friendly servers and hosts and the lob lady who was at the pay counter was the Sweetest (I forget all the names, I'm sorry 😞). The food was okay. When we went, their computer was down and it was cash only. My husband noticed that you can pay on the app and that was never mentioned so he did not like that as we were low on cash and had to kinda work around the no card thing. Also, as someone who served for 10 years, why do they not have a crash kit to take credit cards (they make carbon copies of the cards to process later and have you sign. Very very normal in the restaurant biz)? The Thing that I kinda found off-putting was the fact that a group of 30 people who happened to obviously be Muslim came before us was still not sat by the time we left. Obviously a big party can be a lot to accommodate, but the fact that my small family was sat, looked at the menu, ordered drinks, later ordered food, ate, paid, ect and they STILL were outside waiting.... it seemed a bit too much of a wait for a 30 top, even with no call ahead. We were there at least 45 minutes and the restaurant was not very busy (our section of the restaurant had at least 13 tables and only 4 tables were sat in it). I'm not saying it was racially or religiously motivated, but im also saying it left a bad taste in my mouth. I apologized to the group when I left and they were super nice and seemed unsurprised by this. I really hope they got better service...
