This place would be fantastic, if they had good hired help. We have been three times and each time the service is terrible but the food is great. The food is the only reason we continue to come back. The first time, we had a table of six, the waitress took our order, and then never showed back up until our food was delivered almost an hour later. Our entrees were delivered, but our apps were not. It took the manager to go get our apps. We never received refills on any of our drinks, and when the bill came, she threw the whole bill on the table but didn’t separate it out, even though, she had three different tickets bc we told her who was on each ticket when we ordered. When she came back the whole check was wrong again, and we had to physically go to the computer with her to fix the check. Then she never came back for payments. Terrible experience. The second time, the waitress never came back for refills or to bring the condiments that we asked for when we ordered. The last straw was last night when we waited for 20 minutes for someone to even come and take a drink order. When we walked out I told the hostess that nobody came to wait on us, and she just said oh, oh well. We just left. The food can be amazing but it isn’t worth the hassle dealing with your poorly...
Read moreThis is the second owner change since Joe and Jan Lawrence started Joes Bar and Grill at this location. We were delighted they still serve a version of Joe’s famous Tiger Chicken Nachos! Close to the original, very generous chicken portions and plenty of jalapeños and black beans on a hearty bowl of nachos. The Smashburger was good as well. Atmosphere is casual in an older location downtown with a full bar plus booths and tables for the diners. Business was bustling for a Monday night during a holiday week, but service was super prompt, friendly and kept up with our party of five; everyone seemed to be having a good time. The menu offers a good variety with sandwiches, appetizers, sides and specials offered at reasonable prices. Coke products are served. We were happy to see this spot busy with a diverse and happy clientele enjoying some good food, including our long time fave Tiger Chicken Nachos. This is a great reason to return to...
Read moreA a couple weeks ago, my sister took me to this place. She kept saying something about beaverclaws, and I wasn't exactly sure what she was talking about. But she said she wanted it to be a surprise. When we got there, it was a pretty cool place. It was nice, clean. And to be honest their bathroom was almost big as my living room. What the Outback calls the blooming onion is the Beaverclaws at Beaver Creek Bar & Grill. It's like the leaves of the onion breaded. It was wonderful. I also got a burger and some macaroni and cheese, it was pretty good. It's been so long since I've tasted burger. Beef product that tastes like BEEF. Without the all those chemicals and additives that they put in your meat at the grocery stores and stuff, to make sure the meat stays fresh. Well, this meat was fresh and awesome. The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed Beaver Creek. I hope to go see them again soon. Nancy...
