Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Shelby

First let me point out that my husband and I are on a very tight and fixed income. Also I have been waiting for more than a year to have extra money to go to Jimmy John's to have a good Italian sandwich. We are originally from NJ and been in NC for 23 years never found a place that put italian meat on italian subs (go figure) Being an Italian-Sicilian, I was very excited about and looking forward to it. Finally we had extra money expecting about $20 for 2 subs like at Subway or our local place. we were beside ourselves when we saw $15.99 and $13.99 for each of our sandwiches. I was ready to leave but my husband said to me since you have been wanting to try it, let's treat ourselves. The girls at the counter didn't know exactly what was in the sandwiches and it took several times to explain which one, how large (we always get the biggest to fill for 2 meals each) I got the #9 and couldn't wait for the capicola! my husband got the #2 which I have attached photos to show little meat and not what we asked for. He said no mayo, oil and vinegar. They only put oil and 2 slices of roast beef and 2 slices of cheese (charged extra) lettuce and didn't get the tomato he asked for! incomplete sandwich For mine, I ask you have you ever heard of an italian sub with mayo...it always comes with oil AND vinegar! yes they did not put onions as requested but barely any meat or cheese, some lettuce and I had asked for tomato as well, no tomato! It is one thing not getting what's ordered when 2 subs come to about $15-20 dollars for both. So, when the 2 sandwiches come to $33.90 for 2... DOUBLE THE PRICE and no what is ordered, and barely anything on it...I think there is something wrong with that store, all of your stores, or your policies. Do you have any idea how much groceries, even a 1/2 tank of gas for my small car I just wasted! I will NEVER go to a Jimmy John's again nor will I ever give any good review via word of...

Stopped in here for supper. Most of the tables were pushed against the walls. One of the long tables had tomatoes, a big bowl, and obvious prep interrupted, but the food was just sitting out there unattended. One of the tables were taken with the remnants of a meal (staff obviously) and a jacket laid on it. There were numerous chairs pushed against the part of one wall. The only available tables for seating were one long table with one chair, one other long table with proper number of chairs, and 2 small two-seater tables, all dirty. Actually one of the small tables had a mop bucket pushed up against it on one side and another bucket on another side of it. There were potato chip boxes stacked directly in front of the cash register that she wanted us to order at. (She didn't offer to move them.) And the music was so loud that we had difficulty hearing anything she said. They took twice as long to prepare our sandwiches, and they had no unsweetened tea at all. When we finished eating at one of the tables outside and went to throw our trash away, all of the trash cans were very full. My husband & I opted to sit at one of the available tables outside. My overall impression........they didn't expect any customers at all today, and really didn't care to have any. I really hope the owner sees this. Surely it is not his intention to send...

I do food reviews on Fb. I have never heard of this restaurant b4 till I was referred by a friend on Fb to do a food review. They sent me a promotion for $1 sub's to my page and wanted me to do my review. I accepted the challenge. I posted the promotion on my page for my 5000 Fb friends and 2000+ Fb followers. There is no Jimmy johns in Rutherford co. The closest one is in Shelby Nc which is a hour drive away. I got 2 carloads of friends and drove there to be told that that offer was false advertisement. I asked to speak to the mgr and spoke with Courtney. I told her the situation and asked her to consider honoring the add for us because of our pequliar circumstances. She told me no. I said, so you would rather me contact corporate, do a bad review on yall's Google & Fb pages, on the website & on my page than just give us 6 sub's at $1 a piece. She told me to do what I had to do & referred me to the website to submit my feedback. So I did. I will never go back to any of these restaurants again. Jimmy johns just lost a lot...
