The staff here is amazing. One of the team members, who had an Indian accent/appearance, was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. He made a delicious mocha latte that tasted perfect. The whole crew seem hardworking and created a welcoming atmosphere. Great experience overall.
Edit: The cashier seemed rushed when I ordered a venti hot handcrafted matcha latte. Maybe he assumed most people would want an iced drink on a hot day, but I specifically said "hot." I noticed the barista was making a drink by adding green powder to a plastic cup then ice, so I inquired if it was for me and tried to catch the mistake in time. Unfortunately, she had already added the ice, so she immediately dumped the entire cup.
I really don’t like seeing food/drinks go to waste—at the very least, they could have asked if I wanted to keep it before tossing it. They did remake the drink, but I was disappointed that the second one had much less matcha flavor than usual and tasted bland. Maybe she put only less scoops of powder on the second one.
I still appreciate the effort to correct the mistake, but I’m lowering my rating from 5 to 4 stars because of the unnecessary waste and the quality of the remake. I hope the staff becomes more mindful...
Read moreI counted 7 people standing behind the counter . Of the 7, one person was taking orders and working the register. She was new and and kept saying “ I’m new” . But no one was helping her .
Another was “working” the drive through ( but no customers were in the drive through ) .
A third was waiting to making the special drinks , but at the time no special drink orders were being made .
The other 4 people were wiping the counter , and moving around trying to look busy .
The line was quite long - and all I wanted was a small cup of black coffee . None of the other 6 would help the girl at the register - I waited 15 minutes for a small black coffee .
I very rarely write complaints because in the scheme of things , these little inconveniences really do not matter . So , I am not sure why I am writing this . Maybe it was the smug , I don’t give a damn look on all their faces that made me think deeper about society as a whole . Who knows.
One very tangible suggestion for the Starbucks people . Maybe consider having an express line - where folks who are getting a simple coffee can be served quickly and not have to wait behind those wanting full breakfasts , smoothies , and coffee drinks that you can’t...
Read moreWe thought we would run to Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino. The parking lot is a mess at this location . Packed as usual with the bar next door. Sitting in the drive thru line is awkward as you sit right in the middle of the parking lot. If your not far enough over, people can't get I and out of the lot. And...if someone had to back out...forget it. Perhaps if the staff could get people through the Drive Thru quicker, it wouldn't be such and issue. Finally got to order, they were out of Pumpkin Spice and Salted Caramel...both of their featured drinks. One would think that the people who order for them would have this down. Since, of course, you are now caught in this line, you decide to order whatever they do have. We ordered two Caramel Crunch Frappuccinos. They were horrible! My wife has had them before and said they were way off. As we didn't start to drink them until we were gone, we decided that the situation there makes it very difficult to go back, find parking, and walk in to complain. My son's Choclatey Chip Frapp was fine but boy did we waste $15.00 on drinks that we're obviously rushed and made wrong. Think twice before you invest your time going to this...
