As a big fan of Greek food, I went in to check it out while staying in town from ATL. George met me with a smile and, after telling him it was my first time coming in, he proceeded to give me the "white glove" treatment.
The food looked incredible behind the counter! I picked a green(arugula) and a grain (orzo). I chose one of the many Greek style proteins (roasted lamb), which was perfect! From there I was able to load my bowl up with fresh toppings, spreads, and a dressing. It was hard to make my choices as it all looked so awesome. George did a great job steering me in the right direction of combinations. I took the food back to my hotel and ate every last bite! Btw, everything is also available as a sandwich.
This is a superb counter service Greek Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and clean! There is seating available which looked perfect for a meal with friends or family. If you've been on the fence about trying it, or just haven't tried it yet,...
Read moreMy review is based on a dozen visits. This is a gem in Shelton! Good options whether you're looking to fit your macros or indulge. The staff is always so friendly and nice! Healthy options, vegetarian/vegan options, and tasty proteins. Every bowl always makes you feel like you're in a greek summer; look at the colors they use! The olives are imported from Greece! Everything is well seasoned. It's hard to escape the greek fries... good luck driving home with them; sitting in your passenger seat they essentially trap you into an oven with their aroma and then you're forced to have to bite into their crispy crunchy outside only to meet the soft part of the potato ensconced in a bed of feta, herbs, spices and the right amount of salt. And it's that perfect auditory type of crunch that tells your ears you're eating freshly crisped fries. I sometimes like to put lamb on top of the fries (which what you may see in my pic). Read moreI was so optimistic about this place, especially as someone on a plant-based diet. The first couple times I ordered from there they were phenomenal. Literally the best fries I’ve had in years. The last three or four orders that I have ordered through Uber eats have been horrible; the last one completely inedible. I pay too much in fees and tips for the food to not be satisfactory. The falafels have become raw, and cold in the middle, the lentil soup taste sour and old like it’s been sitting there for days and needs to be thrown out, and the three orders of fries I ordered last time work uncooked and completely soggy. The pita bread was hard and the hummus was oily and not fresh. I wasn’t able to enjoy anything from that last order. I’m extremely disappointed because I’m someone who will gladly spend my money for wonderful food experiences but this place seems to be...
