Vitina's Deli Delights — Restaurant in Sherman

This is my favorite place to get a sandwich. I always order the Vitina's Special with wheat bread and house dressing (I think it is oil an vinegar mix, definitely great with the other ingredients.) The bread is always soft and fresh baked. I've eaten here since I was a kid, and the quality has never changed, it has always been excellent. I usually get a cheesecake as well, which is sometimes hit or miss but if it's not good they always replace it. The price is comparable to Subway, but the quality is much better. I really wanted to like this place. Went there strictly for the coffee. I got iced coffee with half and half and a mocha frappe. The iced coffee was mostly half and half (couldnt even taste the coffee). I ended up not being able to drink it. It took 10 mins or more just to make the frappe and the person I got it for, wasn't impressed. LOVED THIS PLACE! I was given a recommendation, after asking for one, of the Dill Pickle Soup to pair with a Rueben Sandwich. They did not go wrong! Fantastic flavor combination. The sweet tea was fresh and not odd tasting from not cleaning the dispenser too! The only thing I was not a fan of was the Thai Tea with Boba. It was too weak and tasted more like Carmel milk. It won't cause me to avoid this deli though. I usually get my Tha Tea Latte from Ding...
