La Sen Vietnamese Grill — Restaurant in Sherwood

Wow. Got a to go order. Catfish claypot had some taste with its caramelized fish and onions, but somewhere in the cooking everything lost its texture. Def not a master chef at work. Also, the serving size was ridiculous: maybe one cup including broth. Also ordered the Vietnamese crepe-- honestly, sometimes I wonder if chefs even taste their own food. In this case, it was the lack of taste. Seriously, nothing. Not in the shrimp, not in the carrots, not in any of the greens, not in the fried egg shell. Why is this even on the menu? On top of it all, there was a crack in the to go box, which let all the oil dressing (also no taste) leak all over our new dining table, and its clear oil so it leaked for a while before we noticed it.

Seriously La Sen, do u think that Sherwood is so red neck that u can just serve a plate of junk and call it "cuisine"?

Also, even if it was good food, it would still be overpriced. So u def don't want to pick this joint to waste your money at.

Horrible service. We waited 50 minutes for our food, there were 5 of us and our plates came one at a time every 10 minutes so the first person was finished by the time the last person got their food. Half our orders were suppose to have jasmine rice and they told us 30 minutes after ordering that they were out of that kind of rice. Both employees working had no empathy for our long wait and poor food quality. They forgot mushrooms on one of the plates and they brought out a plate none of us ordered. In the end no one gave much apology and the food was 5 out of 10. We do not reccomend this...

Food: pho was cloudy, thick and viscosity was almost gooey. Basically they served me reheated pho from i don’t know how many days.

Service: Not surprised almost the majority of asian restaurants are rude behind your back.

Atmosphere: just empty, sad, depressing.

My teapot had dried up food stuck on the lid, pho was prolly 3 days old. Gyoza was probably from the frozen bags from H MART.

No. I have been to Vietnamese restaurants in Florida, Texas, California, Georgia… and none has been as bad as this place.
