Big Richards — Restaurant in Shippensburg Township

Let me first start with GREAT customer service ! I’ve been getting a chicken cheesesteak and fries from here since 2018. I’ve never not one time been unsatisfied with my order, it’s presentation or the taste or quality of my food.

Recently I decided to try other things on the menu, I asked an employee about their suggestion they suggested chicken tenders, they were cooked well, and served with fries. I enjoyed it. I then tried a cheeseburger and fries, also delicious. The burger came on their special bread.

Today I went in and couldn’t decide on a pizza. An employee/owner was very helpful, kind and most importantly patient while I tried to make a decision. I eventually ordered a small half cheese half buffalo chicken pizza . It’s my first time having pizza from here, I am very satisfied. I usually don’t order pizza when I am not in Philadelphia because I had a bad experience at a near by Shippensburg restaurant where the pizza was HORRIBLE. But this pizza is really good, fresh, not too greasy.

Went out on a mini road trip through Pennsylvania from Washington DC and ended up trying this place out. The pizzas were made fresh, they were hot and delicious. Tried the Philly cheesesteak pizza and plain cheese. There is something definitely special about the cheese they use. If you go here make sure you try a plain cheese pizza along with anything else you may want to try. They have limited specials on their menu and a 16 inch large cheese pizza was only $10! That is value that you cannot beat.

Big Richards is absolutely delicious. They are consistent with the taste. They are one of the only pizza restaurants who actually put the cheese up to the crust and not have this inch and a half of sauce like, for example, pizza and stuff, among others. The only thing is that I always order for delivery because it is in a college part of town and you have to climb a very long stairs to get inside. I do not mind getting delivery though.
