We have been here 6 times. The first couple of times, it was rather mediocre, and we didn't return for about a year. Then they moved and we decided to give them a try again. We were pleasantly surprised and raved about them to everyone. The food and staff were wonderful, and we were excited to go back today. Unfortunately, today did not go well at all. We ordered and sat down to wait for our meal. The waitress brought over our order and proceeded to drop one of the four orders on the floor. We felt bad for her because we could tell it really flustered her. She then had the kitchen remake the order. When she came back, I informed her that my Philly was terribly burned. I opened it up, and her response was "oh the meat is supposed to look like that, but I can get you a different bun." I was a little taken aback because it all tasted pretty nasty and burned to me. Also, this was the 3rd time we had ordered it, so I knew what it was supposed to taste like. Anyway the bun came and I transferred the meat. Now the Philly was dry and still tasted like burn. I had my family also try it and they agreed with me. At this point, I was really regretting coming here because I had fasted most of the day and was really hoping for a good supper. Before we were about to leave, my husband went up to our waitress to talk to her about our experience. He told her, "I don't want my money back, but I just want to tell you about our experience. In the future, if someone's dish is burned, it's better to just replace the dish." Her response was,"I gave you that option." This was a flat-out lie as she NEVER offered this because if she did, I would have taken the offer. She only offered to replace the bun and said that the meat was supposed to look like that. With her response, it made me feel as though I was complaining about nothing, and they were only willing to replace the bun. Anyway, my husband responded with, "No, you only offered to replace the bun." The waitress then said with annoyance."Well, that's not how that went down. But I'll do whatever you need me to do." My husband then said, " Don't be snarky." To which she replied, "Don't tell me what to do." Needless to say, my husband was rather upset by this entire situation and told them he would never come back to this establishment. This waitress was not willing to accept the criticism, and I'm just not willing to pay for a burned meal again. I was hoping to avoid this by letting them know that there was a problem with the food, but instead of saying it won't happen again, she made us feel like we're crazy and unnecessary. Read moreSo the tea, as a previous food industry worker and mycology enthusiast I would like to bring something to attention here. When something molds everything within that vicinity is receiving mycelium. So whether it be one container or an open container in a refrigerator, I don't know the scenario we're working with here specifically but what I do know is my partner had found her wrap had moldy cheese which means the entirety of her wrap had moldy cheese and seeing how I don't have a microscope I cannot distinguish the origin or species of the fungi. But needless to say she did not order a blue cheese wrap, when she found out she took it to the establishment and they did give her a refund which is great. There's a reason why I'm not giving them one star. Where they fall short beyond just not checking their ingredients Quality is the fact I didn't even apologize to her. Now in a few hours who's to say that this fungus is not going to upset her already delicate stomach or make her sick enough to where she has to call out of work or in extreme case she ends up in the emergency room for eating moldy cheese. That not only cultivated under their watch but also distributed to who knows how many other individuals.
Now my girlfriend said I did not need to write this review. They're normally are really good and their food is delicious and she's happy to give them more of her money in the future. But I find this kind of thing Blatantly disrespectful to not console your customer when you failed to do your job and you are literally under the guise of negligence posing a health risk to not only that individual but your community. Read moreAfter several times of tying to give this place a chance, I’m sad to say I give up. The first time I placed an order for delivery, it was cancelled without my knowledge, and I didn’t receive a phone call until 15 mins after the scheduled delivery time stating they didn’t have a delivery driver available. Okay that’s fine.
Well today I went ahead and called ahead to make sure they had a delivery driver. I was told they did. So I gathered my order, and called back to place the order, as to not run into any issues. First let me state their website publicly states they offer delivery for all business, homes, schools, and the hospital. No where does it state they only deliver to local businesses, which I actually happen to be.
The girl whom answered the phone was rude, and after taking my local address and waiting awhile stated she only delivered to local businesses. The address given was in fact of a local business, right down the road less than a few miles from this business. She hadn’t asked if I worked there or if I was in an apt. She just stated the didn’t deliver to anything but local businesses and hung up. This contradicts what their website states, and what I have been told in the past. Not to mention she never once asked if it was being delivered to a local business. Customer service was definitely not the greatest. To say I’m upset and displease is putting it lightly, after having so many friends rave about their food.
