Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Shreveport

I was with two friends who have eaten here several times. They absolutely love eating here. I know why! Because it is delicious! They have several different types/flavors of chicken salad to choose from as well as soups. Being my first time I stayed simple. I got The Classic Carol on a soft croissant and a cup of the Chicken Tortilla soup. The chicken salad was delicious! The soup was so good!! Not spicy at all, just flavorful! Just the way I like it! When the manager brought out my food my companions told her it was my first visit. She asked if I liked apples, grapes and pecans. To which I replied, yes. She left and came back with three sample containers. A sample of there Fancy Nancy and another that I can't remember the name. It was basically the same as the Fancy Nancy but had Pineapple in it. Again both delicious, tho' I must say the sample with the pineapple, I couldn't taste the pineapple. Both samples were small on chicken salad and each had a grape in it so all I could mostly taste was the grape. The third sample was a sample of their Pimento Cheese. It was good, but truthfully, I am not a huge fan of Pimento Cheese so since you can ask to sample anything, I would say ask for a sample for yourself and see what you think. The employees were very friendly and courteous. The dining area was clean. Restrooms clean. The location of the restaurant is in an upscale shopping area and is beautiful. I have to say it took me way too long to try this place out!!! I had a chicken salad croissant sandwich made with the fancy fruit salad I believe it was called and a side of baked Lays chips and it was sooooo good. My friend had the same except for her side she got a scoop of the original chicken salad and she was VERY satisfied! My friend Denise has been to Chicken Salad Chick before so she knew what to order. I as a newbie got to taste test WHATEVER I asked to taste and oh by the way ANYONE can ask to taste whatever peaks their interest! The staff was just as friendly s you could ask that they be and just as helpful. At the end of my lunch I was given a pretty little cookie that I eagerly destroyed because it was very delicious! The cookie was so delicious that I had to by 3 of their Valentines cookies they had displayed so elegantly in their counter basket. I gave my husband and son each one which they thoroughly enjoyed and really left all 3 of us wanting more! I will be back Chicken Salad Chick!...

I have been to this bellmead location only three times and it has been horrible every time. First time the service and wait time was kinda rough but that wasn't a big deal people tend to get busy and things may be missed. The second time we came for dine in and we sat for 40 minutes before we had to get up and ask about our food which was sitting in the window the whole time. The third time we just said screw it and decided not to go in and to just order for curbside pick up. We wait 20 minutes past it's ready time and we ended up having to walk in and ask for it. When asking the woman working about our order she tells us it's not ready. We clearly see lots of orders out so we asked her if she could just double check. Yes it was our order just sitting, waiting. The lack of not only professionalism but time management is ridiculous. I've never had these issues at the bossier location.
