Inside restaurant looks nicer than outside. Though no handicap seating with bench seat/cushioning was available. Due to my disability need to relieve pressure on back, neck, herniated, ruptured discs and need to put left leg on bench due to damage from 3 DVTs age 17-22 to release pain pressure when not bed ridden, recovering from transportation to & from appts, therapy, some days better than others. I'd asked upon arrival if possible when someone had the chance to clean one of bench accessible areas. Staff was full of smiles and verbally seemed like they'd be accommodating. We waited 15 to 20 minutes this was including the time it took me to figure out how to use the kiosk. I'm very computer literate, however, last time I'd been inside a McDonald's it was in Phx. & Tucson and the helpful staff just did it all so fast, because they were very busy, I'd not seen how they added, substituted things, reviewed and finalized the order.
Needless to say our food had come, I again was standing uncomfortably, once again politely asked if someone could please wipe off the handicap bench seat, or any one of them, when we went to the counter to get our food, while I don't appear to be disabled, often told I don't look 50 (I just turned on the 4th, God blessed me with good Gene's I guess, & good life choices helps, thought that can't stop reckless individuals from affecting your quality of life! Side note) I just need a clean, reasonably comfortable place to sit and eat my breakfast.
I do think staff is exceptionally sweet, goes above and beyond for the seniors citizens I've observed dining in after the apparent early morning rush. As it was approximately 7:23 am upon my arrival and I didn't leave until 9am. While I was there it was slow inside the restaurant, but there was a steady flow of traffic through the drive through. There appeared to be adequate staff and a manager sitting in the child play area rating his breakfast at a leisure pace.
I'd offered to clean and sanitize the table myself, there were no visible crumbs. I'd imagine the last guest, like myself wiped tfe table with a clean napkin, to clear their crumbs, grease, and minimize the mess in the dining area such as I do. Just out of consideration for the hard working employees, though I've never worked in fast food, or the food industry, I have friends, and family who have. I treat others with the same respect & consideration I deserve, expext in return!
I was told with a smile someone would be out in a minute, I suppose like my grandmother once told me "A minute depends what side of the door your on" she also made this on an embroidered wall hanging with a toilet bowl and sink I hung up in my bathroom! Lol
Needless to say, a very polite oriental lady came out and cleaned the bench table as we finished eating our hashbrowns from our breakfast burrito combos ordered at the table labeled "please leave empty" in compliance with social distancing... and my transporter decided to order additional breakfast sandwiches, as he was still hungry and moved us over to the clean table where we could be more...
Read moreWe stopped by the McDonald’s on our way home this evening around 8:35 PM, and right off the bat, I knew this was going to be a bad experience. It took over three minutes for anyone to come on the speaker to take our order. When a cashier finally started taking our order, her voice and sassy attitude made it clear she was not interested in providing good service.
When we pulled up to the second window, we were told they would give us our drinks but we had to park underneath the arches and wait for our food. After a very long wait, we finally had a young man approach us to ask what our order was. We gave him our order number, and he looked at the receipt on the bag and said, "Oh yeah, you have two large fries and a medium fry." He handed us the bag, and I immediately checked if everything was there. Guess what? No fries in the bag.
I got out of the vehicle and started walking inside. The same young man was walking out. I told him we were missing the fries, and he replied that he had them right here. He had three fries, but not the correct sizes. He kept insisting those were our fries, but I showed him my receipt and informed him they were not the sizes I paid for. He directed me inside. A female employee walked by and didn’t acknowledge me. I waited for two minutes and saw the shift manager at the fries station. I attempted to get his attention, and he stressfully replied, "I’ll be with you in a second, sir."
Long story short, we sorted out the french fry ordeal. I returned to the vehicle, and my wife informed me the rest of our order was also wrong. We had ordered more Chicken McNuggets, but they gave us two Big Macs instead. I had to go back inside and interact with the same manager. He just gave me what I told him was missing, without any apology.
Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing experience with poor service, wrong orders, and no accountability. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their...
Read moreWent there on a recent Saturday morning, around 10 am. Understanding they were busy, elected to go inside instead of wait in a 20 car line at drive thru. Placed my order at the self service kiosk as there was no live person taking orders at the counter. Easy order, 2 sausage McMuffin with egg, hash brown and large coffee. Wait 10 min, my number on the board suddenly drops off, no order in sight. I walk to the counter and see the bag with the order number on the back counter waiting for something. I hear someone say I need another sausage McMuffin with egg. Cool, it’s for my order, few minutes later another bag appears and same person says I need 4 sausage McMuffin with egg. Thinking, at least one of those will be for me. Nope. At 15 minutes, I ask, what’s up with my order? Again, I need another sausage McMuffin with egg. Wait another few minutes. Nothing. Ask again. Repeat, ask again, repeat. Finally at 25 min, I say sir! I’ve been waiting almost 1/2 an hour and at least 1/2 dozen other orders have come out since! FINALLY, another sausage McMuffin with egg comes out, he hands me the bag. Uh, where’s the hash browns? Hands me the bag again. Coffee? Goes to get me coffee. Sir?! I need napkins (since there are no longer self serve napkins out on the floor) Finally at 30 minutes, I get out of there. The 2nd McMuffin was for the next day as I would be on the road. The frosting on the cake, the next day, I go to heat up the sandwich, NO CHEESE. Perfect ending.
WOULD...
