Isn't life enough of a struggle? Must we have to deal with incompetent 'crew members' at ANY restaurant when we are PAYING for not only quality food, but expediency and accuracy? And the tag price ain't cheap!
In a post-pandemic society, where the portions are getting smaller at fast food restaurants while the prices keep increasing, the one thing we could count on with Dominoes was NOT conforming to the status quo...for that only.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad with an extra pack of dressing. I get it home, opened the salad, opened a pack of dressing and poured it on. Much to my dismay, the color of the dressing was brown! I didn't think to confirm the dressing was sacked correctly. The onus on me for that one.
I called the store to let them know of the error, and I wanted the Ceasar as I had my taste buds prepared it. The kid on the other end appeared to be utterly confused. She agreed to replace the salad, but she was even further confused when I said it would have to wait another hour. Then she informed me that it was shift change at 1:00.
"And?" I inquired. "Well. I don't know if the next shift will know what to do," she advised in a weak voice. In the words of Scooby..."Durrh?" "Isn't there a manager there?" "I am one of the managers." She so boldly replied. "I will be there in less than an hour, " I replied thinking that this wasn't going to go easily or quickly.
I arrived and pulled up to the drive-thru. Hotter than hell outside. No one comes despite the fact I could clearly see the girl inside clearly see I was waiting. Nope, not an answer at the window. I pull around and go in. Irritated even more now.
The little girl at the counter stared at me with blank eyes after I explained why I was there. I handed her one packet of dressing since it is a health code violation to return open food that has left the store. The kid that had seen me through the window came to the other kids aid--with an obviously indignant attitude. I explained it to her.
Now she appears pissed because she had to turn and walk five feet to the fridge. She pulled out one pack of dressing and TOSSED it on the counter toward me like she was dealing cards--and it was RANCH dressing no less.
Again, I reiterate what the screw up was so the bobble-headed gal grabs the one pack and walks back over the to the ticked off gal. I could hear her whisper "why does she need two dressings?" I spoke loudly at this point and said, "For the last time: I ordered a salad. It COMES with one pack of CEASAR dressing. I PAID for a second. You have the receipt in your hand." I got my salad and left.
There are other pizza places in town. Go to one of them unless you just want to add to...
Read moreTypically our experiences with Domino's are great, but tonight we had an extremely awful experience and I feel like it needs sharing. We ordered our two pizzas and cheesy bread at 7:13 with a delivery estimate of 30-40 minutes. Totally reasonable. 8:15 comes around and there was no word of our order, just a note on the tracker saying that our order was being "checked for quality" since 7:43. I call the store to see if my app was messed up and I was told that "oh your order is out for delivery right now" and provides no other information nor apology/explanation for the delay. I hang up and see that my app had immediately updated to say out for delivery. Tad bit suspicious in my book. Finally our order is delivered at 8:45 and we are just super frustrated. There was no apology or anything from our driver or anything. What was supposed to be a quick alternative to cooking dinner turned into keeping our daughter up late on a school night so we can have dinner. The food was warm and quality was good, which was definitely a plus. But I just felt like I needed to share this experience with whomever...
Read moreHorrible service. Pulled up to the window had some kid start to hand me HALF of my order then stare blankly at me before realizing his mistake. After five minutes blank stare kid takes my payment and tells me to have a nice night. Not giving me my order and handing me my card. We then sat at the window being ignored. I could see my order sitting g by the window and the ENTIRE staff ignored us. We knocked on the window, nothing, ignored.after 10min of this. I went inside and told the manager about the situation, she laughed in my face very loudly before giving my order. When I finally got home to eat my pizza I found out that they had cut the slices in some random pattern instead of the normal pie slice this was my first experience at this location and I will not be going back. If I could rate it less then one...
