The Food Facility Operator shall be the Person in Charge or shall designate a Person in Charge and shall ensure that a Person in Charge is present at the food facility during all hours of operation. The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Food Employee observed making fries without proper beard net. Beard nets are not available. Wings prepared from food ingredients held at ambient temperature was not cooled to 41°F within 4 hours as required. Corrected on site. Observed the following food contact surfaces not clean to site or touch: – knife stored on the drying rack – strainers under prep table – tomato slicer – 2 storage containers – part to a slicer. My son who is struggling with many things right now asked if I could take him to your place. Once I placed our order we waited about 10mins for our food even though it wasn’t really busy. Food came out where we were sitting and that’s when things went wrong. I asked our sever for our cups, b/c on the menu it shows a drink with that combo. She said I’m sorry I forgot to charge you, then proceeded to ring me up for another meal. I told her that I don’t need another meal all I’d like is the drinks that’s supposed to come with the combo. She then again says that the system has it where it needs to be wrung in separately. I told her never mind we’ll just not have our drinks b/c she was getting an attitude. Then she said no I’m gonna bring out cups. She then slams the cups on the table and says her bit again about how the drink system works. Sooooo, first time trying this place. Advertising says they are the number 1 philly cheese steak in the world. Friendly staff, fast ordering and preparation. Got it to go with all the choices available, mayo, lettuce,tomato, peppers, onions, cheese. And the protein was the chicken. I got the small which comes out as a portion of the length of bread available. Nicely cooked potato fries and the sandwich served together in a large box to go. Accompanying the sandwich was a self served coke. Potatoes fried well in the vat. The sandwich was tasty but the ratio of meat to the sandwich was low . I can't say it was number one in the world but it does fill the hole. Thanks again...
