I had the pleasure of dining at a local Chinese restaurant, renowned for its authentic flavors and exceptional service. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly their soup dumplings – the best in town! I’ve been coming here for a while because I love their soup dumplings, but the kindness extended to me by the girl at the front today was really wonderful! I arrived to pick up my order a little early, and she told me it would be a little bit until it was ready—no problem at all, but I was parked illegally so I went to move my car. When I came back, she had made me a delicious mango milk jelly drink to have while I waited! After I got my order and left, she called me to tell me that she’d accidentally given me the wrong dumplings and if I wanted to come back and switch them out I could. Dumplings are dumplings to me so I was just happy to have them, and she told me if I was okay with it not to worry about having to come back and give the wrong order back to her. Having worked in restaurants myself I know that I personally probably wouldn’t have called to fix the mistake and only addressed it if the customer complained, which definitely reflects poorly on me lol but I was impressed with her professionalism! Plus I ended up with a slightly more expensive order and the dumplings were absolutely delicious.
