This afternoon, my cousin and I decided to try Applebee's. We ate there years ago and weren't very happy with the food or the service. It has been several years, so we decided to grace them with our presence. We were the first people there and seated. As we walked to our table, I noticed that the restaurant looked friendly; the lighting there had a lot to do with that, as well as the Valentine's Day balloons hanging everywhere and several pictures adorned the walls, not to mention many TVs. We were promptly given menus, requested waters with lemons, and started browsing the menu. I'll admit there were plenty of appetizing-looking items on the menu, wings, shrimp, fish and chips, burgers, steaks, and much more. Next time I'm there, I will order Bourbon street chicken and shrimp, it looks and sounds fabulous! This time around, we both chose Impossible burgers. My burger was without cheese, and I had a side salad, and my cousin's burger came with cheese and regular fries, although other side choices were available.

The Impossible burgers had lettuce, pickle, and onion. I added a little mustard and ketchup. My side salad had a bed of lettuce with two types of cheese, tomatoes, a little cucumber, croutons, and my dressing (which they got wrong) was a lemon olive oil vinaigrette; I chose balsamic, but no regrets with the lemon olive oil, lots of flavors rolling around in that dressing!

We both agreed that the Impossible burger was good and a safety net; she liked her fries, and I enjoyed my salad!

Sitting there as we waited for our food, I noticed that someone had skipped running the vacuum; the tables were clean; that said, the tablets or whatever that machine is called on the table for you to pay was pretty gnarly. None of them were on yet, Maybe they cleaned them as they turned them on?? The lady's room was mostly clean, with no odd smells or dirty floors.

Another thing to mention is that Applebee's has a full-service bar, beer, wine, or cocktails, whatever your heart desires!

Our server was Lorelei Y. She was chatty, smiley, and very friendly. She didn't hover, yet she checked on us enough times to make it feel like she hadn't forgotten about us.

By the time we left, the parking lot of Applebee's was half full of cars.

Will we go back again? I can safely say we will return, eventually!

For anyone interested in trying Applebee's, they are adjacent to the Kitsap Mall, The JC Penney side of the mall, off NW Randall Way. They are neighbors to BevMo, across from Olive Garden, and caddy corner to Target. 3138 NW Randall Way, Silverdale, Washington.

Plenty of parking space!

Confusion from when we first entered at around 5:30pm. Was told we would have to wait for a table. Noticing the restaurant was 1/2 empty but seemed to have enough staff to cover any type of rush in patrons. I think the confused look from our party , we were quickly told we could now have a table, near the inner section close to the bar.

We were approached fairly quickly with menus and cutlery but it was awhile before our server approached us to take our order. The service rapidly went down hill after our first interaction with the staff.

Our first course was delivered and another drinks order taken. However the next interaction with the server was when the mains were delivered which they nearly walked away without taking the first course plates away, they were prompted by ourselves picking up the empty plates and handing them over. We also then had to remind them they had forgotten part of our order and to have it removed from the bill.

It then took them another long time to remove our finished main courses plates. This was then promptly followed up by another long wait we had to prompt the servers if we could have our bills.

Would not visit this...

Can't get an order right to save their lives - probably because they just don't give a @$#*. Even if they did manage to listen long enough to hear "allergy alert" (which they won't because they are too busy chatting & flirting amongst themselves) the food will be cold, congealed, and just disgusting. Honestly though, I may be bitter because I ordered an item from the menu, the waitress took my order, wrote it down, and walked away from the table. When she brought our orders, she set something completely different in front of me and walked away again. When I finally flagged down a different waitress (because ours was in the parking lot) and explained that this wasn't what I ordered, she said, "Oh, we don't make that any more," and walked away. We actually discussed the possibility of doing the same, especially since half our order wasn't out yet and the half that was there was wrong. If you are looking for a good meal, served by a friendly staff, at great prices - - just...

Since COVID and the great resignation, finding later than 8 or 9 pm dining options has become more and more difficult, so the fact that we were sat to eat and they had the full menu available at midnight was amazing, but the service was definitely not the best. The food was decent enough, it was rather tasty actually, but our server literally was nonexistent. Aside from taking our initial order, she didn't come by the table again our entire visit. A food runner dropped our salads off, but we had no silverware.... and eventually the table next to us informed a busser that we needed some utensils. We then had to order drinks from the food runner when she dropped off our entrees, because we still hadn't seen our server, a different person dropped our drinks off... our server never came by to see if our food was good or not. We didn't see her until she came by to drop the bill off. So, I give a one-star for the service, five-star for being open late, and a 3 star for the food.

Happy Is what you will experience while dining on great tasting Food, appetizers are always on the sale. clean atmosphere. Atmosphere that includes experienced professional staff Members who welcome guest with the most and professional attitudes.. Comfortable seating, Choice between sitting at the bar or tables with chairs, We chose the booth with fabulous view of the mountains. As it was my birthday my daughter treated me to a wonderful selection of appetizers. I would recommend doing so During happy hour as the margaritas are remarkably good. Great prices on all the food and drinks. Handicap parking an easy access.
