Listen I don't know what happened. This place was literally my favorite go to place in all of the entire Silverdale area. I was so excited when I found it because I had finally found a place with flavor and our family ate there at least 3 times a month and then it shut down and I was heartbroken! So I waited patiently until it finally opened back up trying other teriyaki places but nothing was as flavorful and sadly I have no idea what happened while they were closed... I am still heartbroken. I finally got to have my Down East again last night and I don't even know what that was...There's no more fried mushrooms, there's no more yummy little salad and dressing with the teriyaki chicken meal and the teriyaki sauce is completely different and lacking in flavor and volume. I am so bummed out... I don't even know if I want to go back. I mean it's not horrible and the service is still good it's just nowhere near the same, it's like it lost all of it's flavor and some of it's menu items....
Read moreVery friendly greetings to everyone who walks in! I love this! We ordered to-go. Pork fried rice & orange chicken & an iced Thai tea w/boba. Boba was cooked well. Thai tea was not too sweet (which I like!) The food was ready in about 12-15 minutes. Orange chicken tasted more like real orange. Sauce was darker than I expected. Usually you get that fake orange flavor. We enjoy it. Definitely enough for two. It also comes with a generous amount of steamed rice (or veggies). The pork fried rice was different. Thinly sliced pork…Not the normal died red diced chunks. Again I could tell it was quality. The only thing was it was super greasy & there was not much in the container. Expected more for the $16 paid. I’ll be back but not for the rice. Overall the customer traffic in the pouring rain seemed steady. They are sitting down or to go. You can order by phone or on line. I just walked in. I didn’t take pictures because it’s your basic looking rice and fried orange chicken. We ended up...
Read moreI'm new to the area and was looking for some good fish and chips. This place came recommended by a co-worker and everything was as described. Delicious, affordable, and large servings. The staff were friendly and the food was served promptly. The menu is extensive and includes a wide variety from Asian terriyaki to Fish and chips and everything in between. The sides were also delicious! The coleslaw had the right amount of sweetness and the clam chowder was amazing. I Highly recommend you try this place. The ambiance is so-so, but if you want a great tasting, affordable meal with large portions, this is the place. I'll definitely be back. Be sure you know ahead of time whether you want panko or tempura batter. I had the panko this time. Next time I'll try the tempura. Incidentally, the fish and chips...
