Silverton Donut Shop — Restaurant in Silverton

I decided to drive a little extra distance for good donuts for National Donut day. I had heard good things about Silverton Donut Shop, so I decided to try them out. Open 5 to "sold out", I rolled in about 8:30. The shop is non descript, featuring a simple sign. I drove past and doubled back. I eagerly entered the donut shop to find loyal customers in a line waiting their turn. The shop may literally fit the description of hole in the wall. The menu board is so old that all prices have fallen off - or have been torn off. You can see that due to sun fading, once upon a time donuts were $3 a dozen. $12 now. But I was happy to learn there is no upcharge for donuts other than glazed. They accept cash or credit. The taste reminded me of my home town bakery. Quality varied slightly., But freshness abundant. My twists seemed to not have risen completely. One glazed had been in fryer slightly too long. Overall, the change from manufactured donuts was refreshing. The hours are pretty wonky as I am a avid customer here... :) Randomly closed on days. There isn't a structure for their times that they are "open"

Honestly wouldn't pull up any time before 6AM as they are usually not open at the 5AM time listed.

What's going on with your hours lately? I've come by there twice to find you closed when you're typically open? I love the Donuts and prefer to bring them in to work for everyone....It has been a hassle coming out of my way to find you closed when you're suppose to be open. Frankly, it is disappointing. Please get back to the consistent hours you once had because you are currently losing customers, advertisement and money due to these sporadic hours.
