Update: 1/3/2025 Blessings to All this Great New Year! Just returned from Florida and the Southern States of our beautiful country. Boy, the South is so AMAZING. Love the accent and my Veteran patient told me I had the strong accent, "like for sure, like wow." Just great to be home. Corn dog, chili fries and a pink lemonade. Yum. Now for a rest. Update: 12/17/24 Just returned from Franklin, Tennessee for nursing job and came straight to The Der. With coupons in hand (saves a lot of money) I had my chili dog with extra onions. SO GOOD. Tennessee has HOT cowboys, BUT West coasters have Der Wienerschnitzel chili cheese dogs. Yummy for my flat tummy.😆Love my California Life. But OKC comes in a close second. God Bless. Debra & Cats.

Update: 11/6/2024 Congrats to Dodgers Worlds Series Champions! and the LA fans for the BEST EVER fireworks show full stop! Corn dog, chili fries and a Coke, with cats, sitting on top of Mulholland Drive and a 360 view of display 🎇from Malibu, Northridge, Reseda, Pacoima, Encino, VAN NUYS, Sherman Oaks, everywhere was great. Thank you LA, Dodgers and The Der.

10/28/24 3-0 Dodgers. I respectfully thank NYC for hosting an outstanding game. Your team, fans and city are truly superior. I humbly ordered a simple chili dog and water. Game 4. Go Dodgers! 10/26/24 2-0 Dodgers. Ohtani's injury drove me to a big order, I am a petite girl, so this dog is a two meal for me. Chicago dog, fries with ketchup and a large Southern strawberry lemonade (I bet it would be great with tequila in it!). I pray Ohtani will be fine. The dog was yummy. Slept like a baby. Go Dodgers!

10/23/24 Ok, nerves are on edge.. Dodgers v Yankees.. calm down Debra..just finished a corn dog, extra mustard, chili fries and a med. root beer. Ahhh.. SO fresh and feeling relaxed. . Back to arguing with my east coast patients and docs. Let's Go Dodgers!

After work, I have been treating myself to a hotdog on these warm summer nights. First it was a yummy kraut dog with dill pickles, next chilli cheese dog with extra onions and coke with ice, RIGHT! DISGUSTING CONE GAVE MY FRIEND FOOD POISONING!!!!

My friend and I came to this location to have an ice cream, as a treat to ourselves after shopping for baby shower preparations. We decided to try the "Fruit Loop-dipped cone." After paying, we were given one cone: it looked disgusting! We watched an employee dip the cone in a metal dish and hand the cone to another employee that handed us the cone. The cone looked wet with a greenish, clear liquid. It looked inedible. We paid about $7.00 foe both cones. We, immediately, asked for the second cone not to be dipped and explained it did not look appealing and tasted horrible. We were handed a plain cone. We were not offered another cone or a refund. The employee just smiled, giggled, said "okay," and handed us the second, undipped cone. I am expecting so my friend gave me the undipped cone. She, unfortunately, ate the Fruit Loop cone. Within minutes, she realized she had made a mistake but, since I had paid, she ate some of her cone, despite her better judgement. We stopped at one store, minutes away from the location, and ahe started feeling unwell. She complained of pain, a foul taste in her mouth, and tummt discomfort. She purchased a Sprite to help settle her stomach while in the store. After returning home, by the evening, which was not long after, she began throwing up, has had unending diarrhea, and is having extreme symptoms of food poisoning. This has lasted all night and has, even, missed work today! She is, still, unwell with diarrhea! She has not been able to eat and drinking fluids is a struggle... I, myself, am not sick. The undipped cone did not make me sick but the ice cream was not good and not enjoyable. The entire experience was unfortunate. I am hoping she feels better soon! I am worried she will become dehydrated because of the severity of her condition. I will dispute this charge with my payment card company - I live too far to return for a refund (2...

Wienerschnitzel is so nostalgic for me, I grew up eating it as a treat when I was younger, then it became a late night snack after a night of partying now as an adult, it's just a once in a while thing, but that may be changing. The food hasn't changed much in regards to taste, but it most definitely has in price. A combo with chili cheese fries and a large drink is $15. This same combo, used to be $6. While I understand that everything has gone up, this has gone up disproportionately. They used to be closer to Taco Bell pricing, now it is above McDonald's.
