Applebee's Experience: Almost Perfect, but with a Slight Bump
As an influencer, I always strive to provide honest and detailed feedback to my followers, and today, I'm here to share my recent visit to Applebee's. Overall, my experience was great, and I'm excited to highlight the positive aspects while addressing a minor hiccup along the way.
Let's start with the positives. Applebee's service was quick and friendly, setting a welcoming tone from the moment I walked in. The staff was attentive, ensuring our needs were promptly met and making us feel like valued guests. It's always refreshing to encounter such warm hospitality in a restaurant.
Now, let's dive into the only drawback I encountered during my visit. Unfortunately, the salad I ordered arrived slightly wilted, which was a disappointment. However, the way a restaurant handles such issues can often make or break an experience, and Applebee's did their best to rectify the situation.
I kindly approached the staff to express my concern, and they promptly apologized for the oversight. They took immediate action to resolve the matter by issuing a refund. Admittedly, it did take two requests to ensure the refund was processed, which was a minor inconvenience. The refunded amount was $3.84, although I believe the listed price of the item was $4.49.
Despite this minor setback, I must emphasize that the rest of the experience at Applebee's was outstanding. The ambiance was cozy, the menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable.
Based on the quick and friendly service, coupled with the pleasant atmosphere, I would absolutely consider returning to Applebee's. While the wilted salad and the slight delay in refund processing were not ideal, they did not overshadow the overall positive experience.
I highly recommend giving Applebee's a chance, as their commitment to customer satisfaction shines through. Keep in mind that every restaurant can have a small hiccup, but it's how they handle it that truly matters. Applebee's made a genuine effort to address the issue, and I appreciate their responsiveness.
So, to sum it up, my visit to Applebee's was almost perfect, with the exception of a wilted salad and a minor delay in the refund process. However, the quick and friendly service, coupled with the welcoming atmosphere, outweighed these minor issues. I will definitely be back for another enjoyable dining experience!

Read moreNow Applebee's has amazing food as always. I went on a Sunday evening to a mostly empty restaurant hoping I would receive better service than I usually do from this Applebee's. (being that they were not busy) Once my husband, his brother and I were seated, it took about 10 minutes to even see a server. Once she finally showed up she informed us she was not our server but that she would go ahead and get out drinks until she got there. Took quite a while for our drinks to make it out the table (sodas). It then took another 10 minutes to even place our order and it was still not even our server. At that time 1 drink was ordered (alcohol ). It was amazing to watch how there was not a server to be found in the restaurant even though there was about 6 different tables through out. I watched as the bartender became "bored" and began to play on her phone the host seemed to follow in her lead. Our food finally came out and we finally got to meet our server. It was delicious of course but the steak was cold as if it had sat out for several minutes. Otherwise delicious, still no sight of the drink we ordered (alcohol) also we asked for steak sauce and napkins. Took about 7 minutes to even get the sauce and never saw the napkins. As we finished our food we finally received the drink that was ordered (alcohol). Which was ordered with our food. Now myself I am a bartender at a local grill and bar and I know it does not take 30 minutes to make 1 drink even a hard one (this one was not hard). It appeared to be quite watered down like the bartender made it when we ordered it but the server never bothered to bring it. Once we finally became done and wanted our check we figured it would just be faster to call the server on the little table tablets. I was horribly wrong it took 13 minutes (I timed it) to even see our server and she seemed annoyed. We asked for boxes and the check. By the time we got either of them we had waited so long we managed to finish the rest of the food and was concerned she went on a shopping trip with the card or something. I have experienced problems with this Applebee's several times but this was by far the worst experience I have ever received at any restaurant ever and if I was you I would go...
Read moreWhere do I start? Me and my wife ordered the 2 for $27. You get 1 appetizer to share and 2 entrees. The food and the appetizer literally came out at the exact same time. We ordered the spinach dip that tastes like the spinach dip you get out the frozen food section. Only difference is they used a torch to brown the top so I’m not sure why it wasn’t out in less than 3 minutes after ordering. The bowl was half full and the chips were crumbs from the bottom of the bag. My wife ordered the riblets with mashed potatoes. 0/10. I had the chicken and broccoli pasta. I’ll give it a 3/10. Everything taste like frozen food that could have been warmed up in the microwave. I have not been to Applebee’s in over 5 yrs. Not sure of what I was expecting because I didn’t care for it then but this was terrible. Now on to the best part. My wife let the bartender know that we was not satisfied with the food and that we were leaving. She had 1 bite off her plate and I had 2 off mine. We go to walk out the restaurant and the hostess literally yells at us telling us we can’t walk out on the tab and needed to pay. At 36 yrs old, I’ve been at enough restaurants to know you have to pay for food that you eat. I turn around and the bartender in now walking towards us yelling, flipping her hair and out of breath telling us we needed to pay. As I’m walking to the bar trying to calm the situation because my wife is now upset as well, the bartender proceeds to try to argue me down that I ate my food. I’m glad the plate was still there for proof that I did not eat the dry, cold pasta. Clearly she did not look at my plate. Once the manager came over I showed her my plate and asked her does it look like this plate been touch. She agreed with me. I also explained how the appetizer and food both came out at the exact time. If I was to have eaten the appetizer, my food would have been cold by time I got to it. She agreed as well and we did not have to pay for food that we visibly did not eat. In closing I am very disappointed at not only the food, but how the hostess and bartender yelled at me and my wife. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. I will NEVER go to another Applebees...
