It's with a heavy heart I feel compelled to leave a negative review for this Culver's location. My daughter and I used to frequent it often and was excited we didn't have to drive to Woodruff/Five Forks for Culver's. That excitement faded quickly and now I won't be back to any of their locations.
I went in for lunch with another person and it was their first time. We stayed back as they figured out what they wanted. They then went to find seating as they were disabled and had an accessibility device they wanted to park out of the way. I ordered two basket combos one with a medium fountain and the other a concrete. I also ordered two additional sides as my +1 was wanting to try a bit of everything with their first time. So around 33 dollars or so. While ordering the manager or crew lead or whomever coughed without fully covering their mouth on me three times. Then used the germ riddled hands to finish ringing up my order and handle guests cups and such. She never gave me my cup for my fountain and immediately attempted to step away to hug up on some other customer that had just entered. When I asked another employee for my cup the coughing manager or whomever toss two small water cups at me and rolled their eyes. (Not what I had ordered) I walked away and waited for the food while waiting I went ahead and left feedback via the website. Apparently it goes straight to the store and they have no qualms about making guest feed uncomfortable. I watched the same person I had complain about come to a neighboring table and complain to them about "us". After she left said table continued to be abrasive and make comments about us. Then the employee pulls the lobby associate to the counter and complained to her about us. Also sent her over "to check on us". My issues were the poor service and the health code violation(s) of the lack of hand washing and mishandling of the items. I also had added to the complaint that when our food order (missing one item) finally came out to us the employee that was running it took it all around the lobby twice and then tried to auction it off to the rude table behind us, before I corrected her. She claimed she couldn't see the number even though I had moved it to the end of the table. All I wanted was an apology for the horrible experience but instead I watched some bitter old lady gossip about how she was wronged for being called out about her lack of professionalism. After a few days of no one following up I called Corporate just to be informed that management marked it as they had spoken to the guests. (Which never happened.) I assume the person I complained about was some sort of manager and instead of handling it professional they showed their true colors and acted like mere children instead of a learning experience to do better. I'll be following the review up with a call to Emily Dean in the Retail Food Safety Department for the multiple violations I witnessed within that...
Read moreAs a whole, Culver’s usually has amazing service, fresh food, and friendly staff. Unfortunately, this location falls short. The wait times in the drive thru are so long. If there’s more than a couple cars waiting, we go somewhere else because it’ll be over 10 minutes parked off to the side waiting. The staff is mostly friendly but some don’t seem to have any urgency to move people through the line. The runners that take out the food to cars should, of course, be cautious of vehicles but try to get the cars out as quickly as possible. Tonight, we went around 630pm. We waited over 20 minutes once we placed our order and paid to the time we got our food. A young boy brought it out and took it to the car behind us first. They dug through it before realizing it wasn’t theirs. Then showed the boy the ticket and told them that wasn’t their number. The boy then brought the food to us. My husband was hesitant to accept the food as someone else had dug through the bag and said something to the boy. He claimed he didn’t work there and they were just doing a thing for that night. He had a school shirt on so we assumed it was some fundraiser but there were no actual employees there to help him and no signs telling us this was going on. We felt bad for the boy because he was set up for failure by Culver’s. They shouldn’t be sending out kids that aren’t actual employees without help and also without telling the customers. Finally, after all this, our burger was dry and nearly burnt. This was by far the worst experience here but all of our experiences are bad to some degree. We’re hopeful they work out the kinks. The other location on Woodruff Road has their drive...
Read moreCulvers Simpsonville on Harrison Bridge Road is a hit and miss. I visited the restaurant on Sunday 6/8/2025 and the restaurant was dirty the floors on the tile and the carpet in the dining area had food debris on them, the tables we walked the entire restaurant and every single table was dirty, the fountain soda area and area with the condiments and napkins was not stocked they had the ketchup machines all empty and a bucket with to go ketchup in it if you wanted ketchup. The inside trashcans are all full not yet overflowing. The restaurant had plenty of employees in the front at the registers, lots of standing around and having side conversations with different people. The reason I am writing this review is the awful meal I had I am not happy I had to throw out the meal. The chicken was so dry it was inedible (I feel like and from experience that the chicken I was served was recooked cooked once and then cooked again till it was so hard and then it was served to me for some reason, the fries were not hot I would guess they were old fries overall I was not happy my meal was $13 and I had to throw it out after one bite). I did not trust the restaurant to remake my meal the proper way as I did not want any other extras added to the remade meal after I complained. I was upset and left...
