this is quite literally the worst mexican restaurant i've ever been to. from waiting to be seated and the employee having not the slightest of ideas on how to seat someone? our server was nice but didn't get our order correct at all. the enchiladas literally look like they have turkey gravy on them? and the beef doesn't even taste like it has salt and pepper on it. the taco literally didn't taste like anything. the rice was fine but taste similar to microwave rice. they also charge for chips after your second "basket," even if you buy the $9 queso, which for a large, is about the size of the regular anywhere else. the chips come in the smallest serving container and if you have a party larger than 2, you'll more than likely be needing more than 2 baskets of chips. the ACP serving size was laughable in comparison to other restaurants in the area. it is clean, but i don't know if they have electrical issues or what but the lights flickered for the entire time we ate which was odd. i just don't think this is anything close to comparable to even the "just okay" mexican restaurants in town. the food lacks flavor completely, the service is subpar at best, and the prices are...
Read moreGot our drinks. Had to ask for chips and salsa when the server asked if we wanted any appetizers. Got bottom of the barrel crumbs. We had to ask for some whole chips. I ordered the steak fajitas, and the meat was burnt, dry, and lacked flavor. The tortillas were either days old, or came straight from the store because they broke when folding. I had to load it with toppings just to eat it, which I don’t usually do. For almost $19, the portion was small, and even the rice and beans were skimpy. We also had three separate checks, but when I went to pay, the lady at the front told me I couldn’t check out with her because “we’re all on the same check,” even though someone was already paying with theirs. I even showed her my check, as did my friend, but she still refused. Overall, very disappointing experience. If you want to ask for this price for the food at a franchise; you should preform much better. I’ll definitely be going to a different Mexican restaurant in...
Read moreWe went to Mr. Salsa for dinner on a Monday evening and it was great! I had the Enchiladas con Carne Frita and my girlfriend had the Fish Tacos. My dinner was fantastic, I loved the cheese enchiladas and the fajita steak was so tender and flavorful. The fish tacos were also great, each taco had a huge fish fillet on it that was really flavorful and grilled perfectly. I also loved the 2 carafes of salsa that came out with the chips. The interior was so clean and it was very nice inside while still having a laid back atmosphere. The service was awesome - our server was very attentive and never let the drinks run out and offered us extra chips as well. Try out Mr. Salsa - the menu options are pretty unique and the food is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in...
